COMMENTS FOR CODE GEASS: LELOUCH OF THE REBELLION
Both shows have an MC who's a brilliant tactician and leads his army against overwhelming odds. The MC and his army is pitted against a vastly superior army.
Where they both differ is in the scale of the battles. In Code Geass, there are plenty of skirmishes against the Brittanian Empire; in Alderamin, the Republic of Kioka only influences the battles the MC encounters.

COMMENTS FOR VALKYRIA CHRONICLES
Both series are set in an alternate "world war" scenario, where the main character is forced to command a team of soldiers to fight, despite actually disliking war. The main characters in both are also slightly quirky, sticking out from their comrades and showing great strategy and leadership skills. Valkyria Chronicles has a similar setting to world war 2, with tanks, however Alderamin goes for a slightly 'steampunk' approach with canons, rifles, airships and sword fighting.
The animation style between the two shows also feels slightly similar, and the character designs are often colourful. They both have a similar feel, and if you enjoyed one it's likely you'll enjoy the other.

COMMENTS FOR SAGA OF TANYA THE EVIL
Fantasy settings with the main focus on war. In both shows, the central focus is more on tactics and politics of warfare, rather than the combat aspect. Both also follow the journey of a group/squadron, albeit told mostly from the perspective of the MC.
COMMENTS FOR GATE
Both have OP themes by the Akeboshi Rockets and go for a similar, sleek visual style. If you're a fan of fantasy settings with a focus on military engagements, tactics and an ensemble cast of both male and female roles, both of these shows give you plenty.

COMMENTS FOR THE LEGEND OF THE LEGENDARY HEROES
The protagonist is really intelligent like Ikta and their personnality is also really close on a lot of points.
And Yatorishino can be compared with Iris a woman really powerful with special relation with the protagonist. She used a sword.
The scene take place in medival period during war time.
COMMENTS FOR KINGDOM
Both of the main character is orphan and become generals without being of a noble family.

COMMENTS FOR THE HEROIC LEGEND OF ARSLAN
Both are stylistically, thematically, and topically very similar.
Both anime use nearly identical art designs and palettes. For example, both use the same, historical old-fashioned, font. Artwork is very similar, and scenes are set in similar backdrops.
Both shows are heavily centered around traditional military strategy (for war), and both feature a genius strategist who is a master of war. Both geniuses show more than they tell, consistently proving (through actual battles) their intelligence, creativity, and forethought.
Obviously, the main difference between war in these shows is context. While Arslan features a young prince leading a real revolution against warring nations, Alderamin is set in a school setting, where battles are for practice and not fatal (at least not yet). Another difference is that while the (character) art in Alderamin is prettier than Arslan, Arslan aims for a broader scope in terms of larger armies of characters and greater variety in settings. Finally, Arslan is set before gunpowder had reached the middle east and the West, while Alderamin is set a few centuries later in an era of rifles and hot air balloons.

COMMENTS FOR LEGEND OF THE GALACTIC HEROES
Ikta Solork, the protagonist of Alderamin is VERY similar in personality and behavior to Yang Wen-Li of Legend of Galactic Heroes. Both are lazy geniuses who never wanted to be part of military and who also think outside the box, lack any sort of social tact, indulge in vices and present a political viewpoint that has become controversial in their nations.
Both Shows are war-dramas with future-narrator chronicling lives of people destined to play a major role in their nations history.

COMMENTS FOR ATTACK ON TITAN
Both shows are set in a steampunk world, where the main weapons being used are swords, rifles and canons in both. Both anime feature a fair amount of blood and gore within the battle scenes, and the colour toning and mood feels similar (the use of oranges and sunset colours). Both shows like to go into detail about the strategies used in some of the battles and spends a lot of time on them. Both also feature a short 'training arc' and then goes straight into the action on the front lines. Both shows also have a 'sister-type' figure who is very strong and skilled with the blade, and wants to protect the main character.

COMMENTS FOR AKASHIC RECORDS OF BASTARD MAGIC INSTRUCTOR
Setting of both shows is pretty similar:
World in a time around post industrial era (though with a difference being, Rokudenashi is set in a world where magic exists)
Main protagonists have two sides to them (on one hand they are just and caring, on the other they can be calculating and pragmatic)
There are some instances of world building, though there is fewer of them in Rokudenashi)
As for art style and theme of the show, Rokudenashi is more goofy one, there are numerous humorous scenes.
Nejimaki is the better of the two but Rokudenashi is quite similar so I would recommend it (but be warned, the last episode took quite a nosedive in quality and whole plote seemed to me quite rushed).

COMMENTS FOR ALTAIR: A RECORD OF BATTLES
Main characters are battle geniuses, both of them want to avoid war but will fight when needed and come with the best solution for that time, the difference is that one wanted to be in the position of power to prevent it and the other one just wanted to have a good life and get away from all of this.
Anime focused on war, strategies, culture clashes and their consequences, they both try to show the bad side of war and that sometimes it's inevitable.
