COMMENTS FOR D.GRAY-MAN
Ao no Exorcist is very similar in storyline to D. Grayman. The main protagonist is a young boy named Okumura. He however is cursed with being the illegitimate son of Satan. He then is rescued along with his twin brother by a society of exorcists. A priest, who Okumura calls father raises him, in hopes that he Okumura will use his powers for good, and not evil. After Okumura's foster father is killed, he pledges himself to train to be an exorcist, and defeat Satan's forces. In D. Grayman the main protagonist is Allen Walker, who is becomes cursed after he turns his dead relative, and father figure into an akuma, by being tricked by the evil Earl. However Allen's relative instead of killing Allen fights the urge, and then curses him. Allen then leaves after destroying his relative to then be found by General Cross, an exorcist of the Black Order. Allen then after a time of apprenticeship goes to the Black Order to be trained and become a full fledged exorcist. So if you like Ao no Exorcist then you will love D. Grayman.
D.Gray-man and Blue Exorcist are action anime that feature exorcists that all have unique powers and are part of an organization that protects the innocent people of their world that don't know about the existence of demons. Both series have main protagonists who are mistreated despite being kindhearted at first but as both series progress they find family and friends within their organizations. The main characters also have father-like figures who passed away but influence them greatly. The only downside is that D.Gray-man is a bit long as a series. If you liked watching one of them you wont regret trying out the other.

COMMENTS FOR SOUL EATER
Ao no Exorcist and Soul Eater are action anime that have a "let's team-up and save the world" feel to them. They both take place in a special special academy, which trains young teenagers to become fighters that stand against Satan and his henchmen in Ao no Exorcist, and demons in Soul Eater. The characters in both series are simply AMAZING, each having their own unique look, personality and fighting style. Both series also feature superb animation mixed with amazing action sequences that will make the viewer beg for more after each fight. If you are a shounen anime fan and you liked watching one of them you shouldn't hesitate to try out the other.
Both animes have student studing in a big academy to fight demons.
In soul eater they are demon hunter. In Ao no Exorcist they are demon exorcists and they go out slaying demons with teacher supervision sometimes, just like in Soul Eater.
The stories are very similar except in Ao no exorcist they have their own weapons, unlike in soul eater where they had the meister and "weapons" which were actually another person.

COMMENTS FOR NORAGAMI: STRAY GOD
With a supernatural setting, Noragami and Ao no Exorcist comes from similar backgrounds in a modern life setting involving otherworldly begins.
Both series' main protagonist's life changes forever after one faithful day after they learn more about what's in stored for them. They meet both friends and foes while helping out others along the way. Their signature weapon are sacred to them and takes the form of a sword to battle against adversaries.
Throughout both series, there's also elements of mystery related to the main characters' past that correlates with present events.
Both anime contain demons/phantoms from another realm. Some demons are helpful in Blue Exorcist but all phantoms come from negative intent and emotions in Noragami. Monsters from both anime have a similar form and behavior to each other, except the monsters from Noragami are more darker and less colourful.
Both MC's have about the same personality. They share the same humor, and can be serious if the situation calls for it. They both fight with a katana against the demons/phantoms.
Spirits can be summoned to assist you in battle in Blue Exorcist, but remain in the same world using the summoner's energy as fuel, but the equivalent to Spirits (Regalias), are summoned to battle as a weapon after making a contract with them.

COMMENTS FOR FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST: BROTHERHOOD
The plot of the two anime deviate away from one another, but where they connect is in the partnership of two brothers who strive hard to overcome the obstacles that lie ahead of them. Elric is the older of the two much like Rin, and the two share a very low tolerance for patience. They get hot headed fairly quickly, while Yukio and Alphonse are more level headed and help guide their older siblings along the right path using their sound judgment. The pair fight for a greater goal which is to unify the world around them, while strengthening their bond as brothers.

COMMENTS FOR SERAPH OF THE END: VAMPIRE REIGN
Both series follow the shounen formula: a hotheaded protagonist loses family/friends to the wills of a supernatural monster and vows to get revenge/defeat said monster with the power of a magic weapon and a handful of new friends. Both series have specialized schools and organizations with the purpose of training youth to defeat the monsters. They also share the theme of demons, though for different purposes, and the main characters are more than normal humans. The soundtracks for both series are products of Hiroyuki Sawano, and both series share great visuals/backgrounds.

COMMENTS FOR NURA: RISE OF THE YOKAI CLAN
The two protagonists (Rin and Rikuo) are part demon part human and uses a katana as a weapon. They also change appearances during a fight scene and tries to hide their true selves which are their demon side. Even though they are only teenagers, the two of them are very powerful but all they want is to protect the ones they love.
The biggest difference between both of them is that Rin (Ao no Exorcist) is trying to fit into human society and wants to become an exorcist despite being a demon himself. As for Rikuo (Nurarihyon no Mago), he is indecisive about whether he wants to become a leader of a demon clan or live a life of a normal human.

COMMENTS FOR THE DEVIL IS A PART-TIMER!
While both series have different premises, they involve the concept of a character who is not so ordinary living on Earth. At the same time, they discover more about themselves and the world around them through interactions with others.
There are supernatural elements involved in both series. Furthermore, there is action, drama, and comedy. The main male protagonist in both series has similar personalities.
Both series also involves a parallel of two worlds described metaphorically - one of humans and other of demons.

COMMENTS FOR ATTACK ON TITAN
Both the main characters are almost very similar, they have the determination to become one of the best and strongest person there is. In both series they possess unbelievable strength and power already or later on. They both are also similar since they have a path of solitude and basically not wanting to rely on others that much. Another aspect about both series is that they both have a lot of Drama since the main characters have at least a lost a loved one. Both are also really good Shounen and this one is mostly Seinen 'cause the characters are more matured for a lot of older teens and adults and this paired with lots of action and violence is what makes it stand out.
COMMENTS FOR BLOOD LAD
In both series, there is a supernatural setting where there are beings that are otherworldly. Additionally, the main male protagonist are hotheaded and are not human themselves.
There is a lot of humor in both series although Blood Lad also has more fan service and even a little romance. However, they both have the fact that the main male protagonist is not human and possesses similar personalities. Both shows also gives similar vibes in regards to its atmosphere.
COMMENTS FOR NARUTO
Now switching the ninja world to a world with two sides, Ao no Exorcist is another anime that will remind you of Naruto because the main characters are so much alike. Rin Okumura is the illegitimate son of Satan. He was created to be a suitable vessel for Satan, so he can travel and conquer the human world. Demons can only travel between the two worlds as long as they can possess anything that exists within it. Rin, on the other hand, does not want to be associated with the demon lord and decides to become an exorcist to fight and protect their own world.
Naruto and Rin both share the quality of a helpful main character. They both feel like it is their obligation to save others away from harm, despite being born differently and being treated as trash by others. Also, they both have inner demons which they will try to learn to control over time. The concept of studying in a school and going on missions is also very familiar, just like with the Naruto series. If you are looking for a Naruto-ish character set on a much darker themed anime, you will surely enjoy Ao no Exorcist.
COMMENTS FOR BLEACH
The main boy characters started fighting when they were 15yrs old, both weild a sword and have to train to use their powers, both boys have friends with their own special abilities and have one friend that was afraid of them at first but got used to them, both boys want to get stronger to protect people although in Ao no Exorcist, Rin wants to get revenge on a powerful demon too....both Rin (Ao no exorcist) and Ichigo (Bleach) have the same personalities. Both Series have an adult man that knows something in each episode that the boys go to for advice and training, like in Bleach its Urahara, a former Soul Reaper and in Ao no Exorcist its the Chancellor of the High school, a demon that's also an Exorcist. Both animes deal with death and trying to fight supernatural beings bent on trying to kill everyone so there's this foreboding sense that if the MMC dont become stronger, alot of people will die, each episode showing more dangerous battles and situations then the last so the suspense, action and intensity is about the same, until they reach a showdown with the individuals causing all the "I will kill you and all your friends because I hate that you live" feelings they come across in each battle. If you like the suspense and action of one series, you will probably like watching the other.

COMMENTS FOR BLACK CLOVER
Ao No Exorcist shares many similarities with Black Clover, with Rin and Asta practically cut from the same cloth. Both protagonists are energetic, shunned by society, and possess hidden power that makes them dangerous to the established order in their respective universes. The action scenes are the primary focus of both anime, with the core relationship centering around two brothers.
COMMENTS FOR BEELZEBUB
School teenagers, that are more or less related to the devil.
Not high level scenarios, but good for laughings.
Main differences :
Beelzebub is way longer, but scenario is not deeper (more gags).
Higher fight frequency in Ao no Exorcist.

COMMENTS FOR FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST
They main characters are two brothers. Ed is like Rin (hot-headed older brother) and Al is like Yukio (calm younger brother). Both have lots of comedy and feels too.
There are many similar characters, eg. Winry and Shiemi, Hohenheim and Fujimoto.
Neither of them follow the original manga story but they're still worth a watch (make sure you read the manga too though (there is also another version of FMA).

COMMENTS FOR TOKYO RAVENS
They both deal with the supernatural. Both have a mc that turn out to be a big shot and they didn't know it. The plot in these two seem rather interesting, but they are slow to build up.
