COMMENTS FOR NICHIJOU - MY ORDINARY LIFE
Both series adapt a slice of life approach with exaggerated scenes of humor, comedy, and absurd dialogues. In fact, some of the moments in both series are so random that it almost makes little to no sense.
Both series take place at a high school life setting where there is drama involving the main characters.
Both series also feature main cute scenes and just in general, nonsense revolving around the characters' lives.
Pretty much both of them are Comedy/Slice of life anime with lots of random jokes implemented in them. They also dont have a specific plot in which the story follows. However, Nichijou may have extreme events such as a talking cat, your school director fighting with a deer and even "destroying planets with laser beams " while DKNN shows the life of Highschool boys and their "boring" lives.
Nichijou shows all the characters and their traits while DKNN mostly shows "boys" acting like "boys".
If you are a fan of Slice of life/Comedy anime, you should definitely try them out!
Same concept of mundane daily highschool life made funny by witty humor. Very similar to Nichijou in setting/characters (both have 3 highschool friends, except Nichijou is of course girls and Danshi Koukoussi no Nichijou is the exact opposite.)
Although, DKnN isn’t as over the top at Nichijou by any means.
COMMENTS FOR GINTAMA
The same sense of humor. Some scenes are totally random, characters have epic inner thoughts about ordinary things and sometimes have the same way of speaking. Both series are very funny and make you laugh out loud.
Also you can hear a few seiyuus from both of these series. Hidenori is voiced by Sugita Tomokazu - the same goes for Gintama's main character - Gintoki. There's Suzumura Kenichi (DKNN - Yoshitake, Gintama - Okita), Ishida Akira (DKNN - President, Gintama - Katsura) and Kobayashi Yuu (DKNN - Yanagi, Gintama - Sacchan).
And both are made by Sunrise. It explains everything.
My favourite comedy series, altough different in settings (Gintama is set in the Edo period with a twist and Danshi is set in highschool) the story follow tree main chars and their daily lives but here is where the fun begins, every little thing becomes the biggest thing in the universe, every normal scene turns into something comical and everyone is anything but "normal".
Both share a couple of voice actors (Tomozaku Sugita as Gintoki and Hidenori, Suzumura Kenichi as Sougo and Yoshitake etc), both made by Sunrise.
Having a bad day? Start watching this, the bad day will turn into the best day eva.

COMMENTS FOR YOU AND ME.
The "plot" is kinda similar. Both series are about daily life of high school students. Also - both series are funny. The diffrence is that DKNN is more crazy while KTB stays more quiet and normal.
One of the main characters from Kimi to Boku, Chizuru, is voiced by Irino Miyu - the same guy who voiced Tadakuni. Another main character from KTB, Kaname, is voiced by Karasawa's seiyuu - Ono Yuuki. The guy with glasses from DKNN has the same voice actor as Akira from KTB (Kaji Yuki). Mitsuo has the same voice as Fuyuki (Okamoto Nobuhiko). As you can see - lots of seiyuus worked in both series.

COMMENTS FOR HAVEN'T YOU HEARD? I'M SAKAMOTO
Ok, granted, NOTHING can stand up to Sakamoto in terms of Sakamoto-ness, but out of all the choices out there, I feel Danshi Koukousei is the one that at least comes close to being like... 1/3 Sakamoto. Both anime are heavily based on comedy and guys (and one on Sakamoto) and consist of multiple parts within a single episode connected through short transitions with a gag on their own.
The main and also the only important difference is that only one of these two anime is about Sakamoto while the other one is about several groups of friends and their adventures in their daily lives.

COMMENTS FOR
Both are about mostly boys attending high school and the comedic adventures that ensue. The humor is similar in both. In Danshi koukousei no nichijou the main characters are average teenagers whereas in sakigake!! Cromartie koukou the characters are supposedly all delinquents. Neither show has much of a plot and both are episodic. Both break the fourth wall fairly frequently.

COMMENTS FOR THE DISASTROUS LIFE OF SAIKI K.
These anime are similar in so many ways.
1. They are both focused on comedy very strongly and try making the viewer laugh. And they both succeed with it.
2. They are both divided in short stories that are mostly independent. Saiki has only 4-minutes per Episode. Danshi has a 20-minute episode divided in 3-4 short stories. So the length of one story in the anime are about the same what makes these two animes so similar.
3. Those two anime tell just about the daily lifes of schoolboys and a psychic. There is no major plot.
In conclusion: Both focused on comedy very strong, and both have short little episodes (about 5 min) telling the daily routine of the characters.
I think there is nothing more similar for both of the animes.

COMMENTS FOR LUCKY☆STAR
These animes are very similar, only Lucky Star is more revolved around highschool girls, and Daily lives of Highschool Boys is more on boys, as the title suggests. If you like slice of life comedies, then check these out. They have a good pace, and are hilarious to watch.

COMMENTS FOR ARAKAWA UNDER THE BRIDGE
Both are over the top, absurdist comedies. Danshiko is the funniest anime I have ever watched, one that manages to make me and my friends laugh even during rewatches. It doesn't have much plot if any, unlike Arkawa. Arakawa's humor kind of wore thin for me, whereas Danshiko kept me laughing for its entirety. Danshiko's strong suit was how it was so funny while still being grounded in reality (i've seen some the scenarios in Danshiko being played out in real life). Both are anime that you probably wouldn't regret watching (I prefer Danshiko), but if you just want to really laugh, watch Danshiko, if you want something kinda funny with plot (its humor is really a hit or a miss), watch Arakawa.

COMMENTS FOR MONTHLY GIRLS' NOZAKI-KUN
Even though the main characters are different, elements of both stories are very smiliar.
- There is no set "main character," the shows are just a mix of many reoccuring characters.
- All of the characters thrust themselves in very awkward situations that doesn't contribute to anything except for laughs and second-hand embarrassment.
- A lot of second-hand embarrassment. And I mean A LOT.
- It's a slice of life comedy, so if you like one, you'll probably like the other.

COMMENTS FOR AZUMANGA DAIOH: THE ANIMATION
they both have this structure where there isn't really a plot but random school/ slice of life moments told in 4-5 parts in one episode
the comedy is there in both series and it's fun seeing what girls have to faff about and what situations boys 'struggle' through in their everyday school life.

COMMENTS FOR WATAMOTE: NO MATTER HOW I LOOK AT IT, IT'S YOU GUYS' FAULT I'M UNPOPULAR!
Both animes are based on people in highschool. They are both hilarious comedies that only has 12 episodes. Both if these animes are slice of life, so it focuses on the main character very often. Dans hi koukousei no nichijou has 3 main characters, while watashi only has one.

COMMENTS FOR SKET DANCE
Well, the comedy presented in both series are quite pleasant to watch for starters. Both focuses a lot on high school and the daily lives of the main characters.
Both series also has gags and a lot of drama that are contained in stand alone episodes.
Both series are entertaining to watch for those more into comedy rather than a serious plot.
