COMMENTS FOR GATE
Gate can be said to have three main parts to it: the military elements with the JSDF fighting in the Special Region, the "slice of life"/"fanservice" elements with Itami & others doing random things, and the "political" part about how Japanese and international politics deal with the existence of the Special Region. Seikaisuru Kado masterfully expands on that third part while (for the most part; the military plays a role, albeit a minor one) omitting the others: it shows how Japan and other countries react to a problem, or even an opportunity, that affects all of humanity, and makes some excellent commentary on the nature read more
COMMENTS FOR BABYLON
Both are politic dramas that focus on the world's response to supernatural events. The introduction of a supernatural/sci-fi person in the world presents new ideology and debates with politicians. The philosophies for the ideal societies in either show are very speculative and based on the writer's opinion rather than believable concepts rooted in reality.
They are written by the same man. While each start with an intruiging premise, their endings take a pseudo-philosophical turn. Babylon ends on a more disappointing note, to say the least.

COMMENTS FOR ACCA: 13-TERRITORY INSPECTION DEPT.
Both ACCA and Kodo are driven heavily with dialog heavy and has politic as its main premise ACCA doesn't have action in the same way but its still present in some sense.
So if you enjoyed the interesting and unique take on politic in this show you'll probably enjoy ACCA as well.

COMMENTS FOR ID:INVADED
They both have the same vibe in a sense of a mystery puzzle. As mentioned in the anime(I think it was mentioned), they feed you information that is not useful alone, where you'll need to collect each piece to understand said Mystery.
And the Problem here? It is that they fed you pieces of information, but the core detail is always before the end of the confrontation with the Main Mastermind.

COMMENTS FOR STEINS;GATE
Both are sci-fi. Stein's Gate involves a mad scientist developing time travelling, whereas Kado involves an Alien, higher dimensions and mind boggling devises. In both anime character development plays an important role, so even though they are quite different they do have a similar feel.

COMMENTS FOR SHOOTING STAR GAKUSAVER
"Humanity is gifted with alien technology that fundamentally expands their capabilities but, through using it, comes to slowly realize that these so-called gifts were not merely given out of altruism. How, then, will humanity cope with this realization?" Fundamentally this premise is at the core of both anime, and while Gakusaver and Kado each use different sets of genre tropes and arrive at different conclusions, I think a viewer of one would get a lot from checking out the other.

COMMENTS FOR GARAKOWA -RESTORE THE WORLD-
To avoid any spoilers, I'll be making vague comparisons.
The both have to do with the world and alternate versions. Extraterrestrial beings that aren't your common aliens are seen in both of these. Attachment to humanity, fixing worlds...

COMMENTS FOR ALDNOAH.ZERO
It has also breath taking entry and scenario as Aldnoah.Zero. In both anime's is the MC given (the situation) so much responsibility that its really similar. If you enjoyed Seikaisuru Kado than you will definitely enjoy Aldnoah.Zero. Also Aldnoah.Zero has good soundtracks in my opinion and given the scenario in Aldnoah.Zero, the soundtracks are perfect!

COMMENTS FOR FROM THE NEW WORLD
both anime make you think about humanity and the world, though Shinsekai Yori is more depressing than Kado
in both anime the main characters need to deal with someone not human
and in both anime not everything is what it seems

COMMENTS FOR EXPELLED FROM PARADISE
expelled from paradise nails that human aspect in a finale that shares the same emotion as kados but delivers it beautifully and coherently and well-pacedly instead of well, awkwardly in every way like kado did. they both start out really sketch tho be warned that cg is quite something
if you sensed something beautiful in kados post-finale go head on over to the producers other work and see it realized, dont worry the scriptwriter is different

COMMENTS FOR CLASSROOM☆CRISIS
Both are sci-fi original anime which include white collar workers dealing with new innovations, research, politics/economy.
Both are also somewhat misleading in what they end up being:
Classroom Crisis' first episode looks like an average cliché Sci-Fi action high school teenager you-can-do-the-impossible-if-you-only-want plot convenience story only to walk away from that considerably to almost completely by the second episode.
Kado completely walks away from its build up by the last 2-3 episodes into a you-can-do-the-impossible-if-you-only-want plot convenience story.
COMMENTS FOR PLANETES
both anime featured the discovery of a new energy source which in turn showed the discriminatory nature of the major nations. however,in planetes, this advancement gave rise to terrorism. whereas, in "seikaisuru kado", the discrimination problem was successfully solved.
