COMMENTS FOR THE MELANCHOLY OF HARUHI SUZUMIYA
The similarities in these two series are quite alike in my estimation.
First of all, both series takes place at a school life setting that have been adapted from a novel. Both series also employs the same studio hence the similar feeling and atmosphere.
In regards to characters, both series has a fun cast to get to know with. The main male protagonist is a normal boy who has to deal with the strange personalities of the other characters namely the main female protagonist. The main female protagonist in both series are strange and has a strange fascination with a mind strange of ideas.
Both series has great comedy, drama, fictional delusions, and a little romance here and there.
A boy enters high school with the plan to live a "normal" life there. Expect, a wacky classmate has different ideas and pulls his normal life of track.
Both series are produced by KyoAni and share the basic setup. The slightly later Chuunibyou also often references Haruhi. It can be thought of as the real life version of Haruhi: How would the whole situation play out if no extra-human powers where involved?
COMMENTS FOR ORESHURA
A few simple words...
Chuunibyou Syndrome.
Both of the main male leads have ex-chuunibyou syndrome and then a girl appears who finds out their secret and so they stay together.
Although in Chu2byou Koi Shitai the girl has chuunibyou while in Oreshura she doesn't.
((I actually haven't finished Chu2byou yet so uhh... I'll update this when I finish both.))
We use to play things when we were little by having these strange delusional syndromes that we remembered and had fun playing with it... In the series the main male character was use to be a delusional teen, but then has to erased it all as it was too embarrassing. It all went smoothly, until a person messed up his life, and having those fantasies come back, forcing him to go along of what they are doing.
Oreshura is somewhat a harem comedy, while Chuunibyou focus on romance, and somewhat fantasy-action scenes.

COMMENTS FOR GROUND CONTROL TO PSYCHOELECTRIC GIRL
Well, these two series here can be described as addictive fun that is wildly entertaining in that bizarre way.
Both series has a strange girl who has strange behavior with a particular fascination on the supernatural. Both series has a strange cast of characters as well that mixes in drama, comedy, and randomness at times.
The male protagonists in the series are probably the only sane characters. They aim for a normal school but finds it difficult after the appearance of the said strange girl.
A teenage boy goes to a new school and meets a bunch of weird people, among them a cute, but socially inept girl, who claims to be a supernatural being. Although the main character is skeptical about this, he participates in "discovering" various supernatural phenomena, even though nothing extraordinary actually occurs.
Also, both shows have a beautiful animation.

COMMENTS FOR AURA: KOGA MARYUIN'S LAST WAR
At first glance, Aura: Maryuuin Kouga Saigo no Tatakai appears to be a Chuunibyou clone and for all intents and purposes it largely was, and I went in not expecting much. But where Chuunibyou was mostly a comedy/ romance, Aura took a much more real stance and leaned more towards the Drama genre, making for a unique little movie that I thoroughly enjoyed.
If you're a fan of Chuunibyou and wanted more, or liked the idea behind it but wished it was more serious, give Aura a chance, you just may end up liking it as much as I did.
In both anime, the male MC with a Chuunibyou-influenced past meets a girl, who is currently in her Chuunibyou-phase, in his first year in highschool. He then tries to get her out of her phase while in the meantime facing his own past. (mini spoiler) In the end, they both enter a relationship (though I guess it's not really 'in the end' in Chuunibyou).
Aura feels a tad more serious though, as Chuunibyou had a lot more time to go through the serious phases and was thus able to have a good portion of comedy and romantic development in between, whereas Aura (due to it being a film rather than a 2-season-anime with a film and quite a few specials :p) has to cramp the entire development into a much smaller timeframe.
This doesn't make either any less of a masterpiece in my eyes though =w=

COMMENTS FOR WHEN SUPERNATURAL BATTLES BECAME COMMONPLACE
Both Series have this MC who has the "Chuunibyou" or "Eight Grade Syndrome" which affects their daily lives, but also funny at the same time. But in Inou-Battle the MC's powers are REAL, while in Chuunibyou demo koi the powers of the MC are only imaginations from the disease. Both are SUPER funny though. With a touch of romance and the action on top.
So i really recommend to watch these two if these kind of anime's suits your taste :)
Both shows deal with high school students in a club. The main male lead in both have very similar personalities, especially considering the fact that both of them have chuunibyou. Some of the female leads in both shows also have or had chuunibyou, although Tomoyo is over it while Rikka not so much (although it is a little complicated for Rikka... you'll see if you watch the show). Furthermore, both shows hint at a romantic theme, with the main difference being that Inou-Battle has multiple people liking the male lead (i.e. harem) and Chuunibyou is more focused around one person liking the male lead. Would recommend watching both as they are both relatively straightforward to follow along.
COMMENTS FOR TORADORA!
[Spoiler Warning]
Both animes have similar stories, like the fact that the two main characters start with a friendship, but at the end of the anime declare themselves to each other in a loving relationship.
In Chuunibyou, the characters derive their characteristics because of another person, as Rikka, who decided to change her way of being because of Yuuta, the Dark Flame Master.
In Toradora, the characters seem to show feelings for friends of their friends at the beginning of the anime. But throughout history, they realize that actually liked each other.
If you saw one of these animes, I think you'll like the other I recommended the same way that I liked. ^^
*PS: Sorry bad english* xD
So you enjoyed Toradora! but would like to have another quality slice of life/romance anime to watch?
Well Chuunibyou should be for you! It's yet another heavily character driven story full of twists and turns which leaves you wanting more. The premise is even more original than the likes of Toradora! and it's just as well paced and easy to follow.
You will laugh, you will cry and you will experience a whole other side of the genre.
A must watch for fans of Toradora! (just make sure you watch the subbed version as major alterations were made in the dub which arguably ruin the appeal of the show).
Enjoy! :)
COMMENTS FOR HYOUKA
This anime is perfect for those who love shoujos. If you like that more syrupy , do not watch. It is ideal for anyone who is in eighth grade or in high school, as the story takes place during this phase. There are parts/scenes in which the emotion he brings us is so strong that we can lose hours before bedtime. At first it is the story of a boy (Yuuta), which once believed to be "Master of Flames Black" and now, in high school, try to hide it (changing to school). He is very funny. The chart is exciting and the story of the characters well developed. The anime deals with some controversial issues, such as bullying, prejudice, early adolescence, death. Why to spend the second year of high school, the famous stage where we begin to build our identity, it could address these issues comprehensively, exciting and fun. I confess I was/am jealous of this story because it is not mine. It's a very different anime (really), I do not know and have not seen any like this. Watch it, because you will not regret it.

COMMENTS FOR THE PET GIRL OF SAKURASOU
A nice, mostly "normal" male protagonist (Yuuta/Kanda) meets an eccentric, socially-isolated female protagonist (Rikka/Mashiro) dealing with a condition which often has them living in their own internal world. While being surrounded by a group of crazy peers (Far East Magical Napping Society/Sakura Hall residents), they try to deal with their demons of growing up while becoming closer to said protagonist girl (who has demons of her own). Both are school life/high school animes, but differ on boarding school nature. Along the way, an unnoticed, unrequited love from a current or former close friend of the male protagonist interferes with the delicate relationship between the protagonist couple.
Both are journeys of self-discovery while coming of age/growing up filled with a balance of comedy and drama. In this way, they have a very strong component in realism. For the main group, everyone's biggest strength comes back to bite them and their biggest weakness also has a moment of benefit. The symbolism and subtle things are prominent in both shows, adding a depth which is there if one doesn't miss it or refrain from looking for it, but you can understand the story without /all/ the depth. There are a lot of themes regarding reality, belonging, family, and love.
Length-wise, Sakurasou is 24 episodes, and Chuunibyou is 24 episodes + 2 OVAs + 12 'Lite' shorts, so both end up telling the story in a similar length of watching time. The difference between the timelines is simple: Chuunibyou starts at the beginning of Year 1 of High School (10th Grade) and currently ends at the beginning of the second term of Year 2 (11th grade) (roughly April of Year 1 to September of Year 2, about 1.5 calendar years). Sakurasou starts at the beginning (first term) of Year 2 (11th grade) and currently ends at the beginning (first term) of Year 3 (12th Grade) (about 1 calendar year).

COMMENTS FOR THE "HENTAI" PRINCE AND THE STONY CAT.
In a more general sense, both series are considered romantic comedies although presented in different ways. The main female character is petite and has a strange relationship with the main main protagonist. The main male protagonist in both series also seems normal although has strange thoughts as well (in different ways though).
Two of the main female characters (Shinka from Chuunibyou, Tsukushi from Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko) possesses dominant personalities.
Both series also takes place at a school life setting where there's comedy, drama, and romance.

COMMENTS FOR BEYOND THE BOUNDARY
Both Rika and Mirai have similar personality and character design. Also Yuuta and Akihito are drawn to our lovely female protagonist. In Chuunibyou: our main female and friends are chuunibyou or 8th grade syndrome aka Delusion of Grandeur. They are able to create imaginative battle sequences which we see throughout the series. In Kyoukai no Kanata: everyone has some sort of supernatural powers within them. Both series retain the comedy and drama atmosphere. Kyoto Animation is the same studio for both Chuunibyou, Kyoukai no Kanata and many other series. I would recommend you check out their other works.
COMMENTS FOR D-FRAG!
Weird, abnormal, pretty girls, who have some fantasy images in their minds, and play it just for fun. It follows the main male character who was caught up in this situation where he was either experience one before, or was forced to join their club. Though, as time passes on, he join their antics and bond with the other club members.
Chuunibyou, follows a normal boy who have experience these "delusions" before and was joined by a female character. Some fantasy action scenes, and romance. D-Frag follows a delinquent boy, who was abducted and joined the club.

COMMENTS FOR MYSTERIOUS GIRLFRIEND X
Similarities:
Both have romance and school genre.
Both guys have something weird in them.
Both involves a guy having feelings for a weird girl.
Both involves a situation where both the guy and girl are classmates.
Dissimilarities:
The guy in one anime is the one who made the first move and is responsible for turning his own world upside down, while in the other anime it is the girl who come into the guy's life an turned the guy's life upside down.
The girl in one anime is receptive of the guy's prescience, while the girl in the other anime limits her receptiveness for the guy on limiting it to exchange of drool (puking).

The girl in one anime is a textbook definition of weird, while in the other anime the girl is a poster child for mysterious.

COMMENTS FOR AND YOU THOUGHT THERE IS NEVER A GIRL ONLINE?
A socially awkward dark haired girl can't separate reality from fantasy/games, leading to altercations which cause embarrassment, and protagonist tries to lead them towards a normal high school life. Both series have a club with only female members and one male, it functions to hide their complexes from classmates. Elements of romance can be found in both series.

COMMENTS FOR THIS ART CLUB HAS A PROBLEM!
Both have enjoyable characters (some suffering from Chuunibyou syndrome) and are in the romantic comedy/slice of life genre. The soundtracks are really cool as well. ^^
I think someone has mentioned this before, but I think Colette was inspired or similar to Dekomori. They even share the same seiyuu, or voice actress (Sumire Uesaka).
[Colette is known to hang out in lockers throughout Konobi, which I think is a reference to when Dekomori was stuck in one in Episode 3 of Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!?]
If you liked Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai then I think This Art Club Has a Problem! should be your next watch.
