COMMENTS FOR KAMISAMA KISS
Each show follows an endearing deity (Yato in Noragami and Nanami in Kamisama Hajimemashita) who tries to perform their godly duties to the best of their abilities, but ultimately they end up falling short, which usually results in hilarious situations for viewers. However, each show still tackles more serious personal issues such as feelings of abandonment, feeling unloved, and a desire to prove oneself. Yato and Tomoe (Nanami's familiar) also have certain aspects in common, in that each character has a mysterious past. If you want a feel-good fantasy anime, look no further than Noragami and Kamisama Hajimemashita.
"An ordinary girl gets in touch with the world of Kami&Ayakashi (or God&Spirits) by accident" makes a start for both stories.
Both are mixture of Shounen Manga and Shoujo Manga. Although Kamisama is totally a romantic story adapted from Shoujo Manga, it also has complicated plots about the complex relationship between Kami and Ayakashi (mostly in Season 2). Noragami is the opposite (adaption of Shounen Manga but also contains romance).
What's more, we can know about Japanese culture while watching Noragami and Kamisama as both stories are based on Japanese traditional myths.
If you liked Noragami, then you should check out Kamisama Hajimashita, they both have some sort of Spiritual/Godlike/Demons theme, the main character of Kamisama, Nanami, deals with the daily struggles of being a Godlike figure with the help of Tomoe her familiar and Noragami relates to a regular teenage girl, Hiyori, who becomes a partial Spirit and deals with Yato a God, they both contain a lots of laughter and some romance.

COMMENTS FOR BLUE EXORCIST
With a supernatural setting, Noragami and Ao no Exorcist comes from similar backgrounds in a modern life setting involving otherworldly begins.
Both series' main protagonist's life changes forever after one faithful day after they learn more about what's in stored for them. They meet both friends and foes while helping out others along the way. Their signature weapon are sacred to them and takes the form of a sword to battle against adversaries.
Throughout both series, there's also elements of mystery related to the main characters' past that correlates with present events.
Both these anime have the typical shounen set up of a powerful male lead fighting spirits intent on hurting mankind. Both have some slick well animated action, a cast of quirky likable characters and they both blend action, comedy and drama together to tell their stories.
Where things differ is Blue Exorcist is a much more typical action anime, whereas Noragami is slower paced and more thougtful especially when it comes to developing the characters and their relationships with each other. Noragami isn't as action packed as Blue Exorcist, but it has more depth and feels much more engaging.
Both these anime build up unique worlds that are populated with intriguing characters and conflicts. If you liked on then you should try the other.
Both anime contain demons/phantoms from another realm. Some demons are helpful in Blue Exorcist but all phantoms come from negative intent and emotions in Noragami. Monsters from both anime have a similar form and behavior to each other, except the monsters from Noragami are more darker and less colourful.
Both MC's have about the same personality. They share the same humor, and can be serious if the situation calls for it. They both fight with a katana against the demons/phantoms.
Spirits can be summoned to assist you in battle in Blue Exorcist, but remain in the same world using the summoner's energy as fuel, but the equivalent to Spirits (Regalias), are summoned to battle as a weapon after making a contract with them.

COMMENTS FOR BEYOND THE BOUNDARY
These two shows are both popular examples of a certain type of supernatural stories that have become a staple of anime in the past few years. Mixing the mundane, calming feeling of the slice-of-life genre with a very distinctive supernatural element that you find only in anime and manga. The world is not as one-dimensional as you think and a roaming spirit might lurk in every corner. Only few humans can see them and only fewer are gifted enough to fight them, But drifting to the other side is not all fun and games because while our beloved heroes might have good intentions, there are people (or gods) out there whose intentions are not so pure and it is a protagonists responsibility to stop them! There are a lot of anime of that genres that you can watch but I personally find Noragami and KNK to be some of the most fun-to watch series this genre has to offer. With sleek visual styles courtesy of Kyoto Animation and Studio Bones, a balanced mixture of drama and action, and a dash of romantic undertones, Both shows will keep you entertained and maybe manage to make you chuckle and/or shed a tear in the process.
Noragami and Kyoukai no Kanata are supernatural theme series involving spirits and apparitions. The main characters gets themselves involved in a variety of ways that changes their lives while helping others.
Throughout both series, there's internal struggles explored regarding the main characters, in particular with their pasts that are reflected by flashback scenes. At the apex of the story, these internal struggles manifest and brings out feelings that are reflected by our characters' reactions.
There's a small cast of characters with strange interactions between them. Expect comedy, drama, and action.

COMMENTS FOR SOUL EATER
Similarities: They both contain almost the same battle scene structure "human like" turns into a weapon.
The one that holds the weapon both are the "masters"
Both are related to some sort of "God/Demon/Spirit" themes story
They both contain comedy and a love story of some kind.
The differences are that Soul Eater involves a group a kids going to a particular school to be train for a job and Noragami deals with a God doing particular jobs and hunting demons while trying to help the Human/Spirit "friend."
Taking on a supernatural perspective, Soul Eater and Noragami deals with Gods and powers beyond our imaginations.
In battle, characters are able to wield weapons that are incarnations of their partners. As flashy as it sounds, they offer a host of powerful abilities that can turn the tide of a battle.
The main characters from both series has a hotblooded personality but is down to earth when it comes to casual conversations. At the same time, they do truly care about their partners and the people around them.

COMMENTS FOR THE DEVIL IS A PART-TIMER!
A dark past filled with violence and terror, gods such as Maou and Yato once lived life by exerting violence among others in order to accomplish their own means. However, fast-forward to the current time, Maou and Yato both display very different personalities from their past. Now seen as lazy, frisky, playful humans who approach things very lightheartedly often to their companion's dismay.
Friendship becomes an important theme in both series as it establishes a lot of important relationships and bonds between the characters. As supernatural beings who interact with normal human beings, these series rely heavily on comedic aspects to portray the distinctive and dramatic differences between those who come from different worlds. The humor and stories are extremely refreshing in both series, and the art styles are also similar.
Both main characters are very similar despite one being a god and the other Satan. Both are really funny & laid-back and it is humorous to see these deities do regular guy things like work at McDonalds or fulfill wishes for 5 yen worry about things like clothes and food. I would recommend these animes for anyone who just wants to take a break from story driven animes and watch something funny and not get too psychologically in depth. I personally think The Devil is a Part Timer is funnier but you can decide for yourself.
COMMENTS FOR BLOOD LAD
Supernatural action comedy is the order of the day here, something which both shows manage to pull off pretty well. In each case we have a powerful male lead who thrives on being strange, a little selfish, lazy, and on their complete lack of common sense.
The action in each show is really nicely animated, with Blood Lad going for a mere stylized approach than Noragami does, but both definitely a lot of fun when they choose to let loose. Noragami is perhaps the more serious of the two shows, but never forgets to lighten up the mood with some well placed, and amusing comedy.

COMMENTS FOR BAKEMONOGATARI
One day, it happens. "Somebody help me!" "OK. Scare away evil spirits!"
Both are very similar. Really similar. Setting is about soul and monstrosity. To solve them is appealing. Because of many nice characters.
Koyomi and Yato are same personality, way of thinking, voice actor. They're fortunate by beauty women (But Yato's case is only Hiyori).
Besides this, many characters cooperate their situation. Hitagi and Meme, Yukine and Hiyori. They're mainly help protagonists.
In other words, story is quite interesting. Every scenes also breathtaking. Never betray you.
Story is easy to enter to. You can empathy both characters. I swear it's true.
Both ED songs are same vocalist by supercell. That's awesome quality. Their songs are very touching.
In terms of point of view, BM has more unique animation. Noragami has more action-packed.
Of course, they are high quality in every aspect of them. It's enough to concentrate.
If you are Monogatari Series fan, and looking for shows like BM, you should watch Noragami.
COMMENTS FOR RIN-NE
These two animes are extremely similar.
1) both include a male protagonist which collects offereings to deal with spirits
2) the main female lead is the only human that can see these spirits
3) They both have a cute lil' companion
Both of these animes really hooked me after 1 episode. The soft humour mixed in with action and supernatural really goes well with one another. I highly recommend you watch both. Norigami has a second season coming out in September so that says already that it's a good enough anime to get a second series. Watch them both and I'm sure you will love them.

COMMENTS FOR RUROUNI KENSHIN
Noragami's anime original end is a blatant copy of what happened between Kenshin and Jinnei in Rurouni Kenshin. Formerly kill-happy (during the samurai period) leads that no longer wish to kill are forced by another character from their pasts to fight with the intent to kill once more. In both series, the already FAR more pacifistic leads became even 'softer' after interacting with useless-outside-of-romance heroines, and the heroines lives are threatened in an attempt to make the leads have the desire to kill once more.
I had noticed Noragami is basically Rurouni Kenshin but not a period piece in terms of characterisation earlier, given Yato's goofy facade and the 'eyes of a killer' samurai flashbacks. Plus, Yato fights with a katana in modern times! But the ending certainly cleared away any remaining doubt.
COMMENTS FOR BLEACH
Noragami screams of a Bleach without way too hardcore-mainstream Shounen. The human main protagonist can see ghosts and other beings. The other main character can't fight on her/his own and shares her/his powers with the other protagonist. The Bleach-concept of Souls is in too. There are also the individuals in-between Humans, Souls and Afterlife. The main protagonists belong to this category. There are weak-strong and strong-weak relationships. The original multi-worlds concept of the early Bleach-series is there too, as well as a living world, and an in-between and an afterlife residence. Near Shore - World of the Living; the Divide - Passage to / Hueco Mundo; Far Shore - Soul Society.
COMMENTS FOR GINTAMA
Very similar protagonists. Both are poor and do odd jobs from strangers for some cash. Both Gintoki and Yato are seen as mostly goofballs but have very dark pasts and made many enemies along the way.
The series are both relatively lighthearted and comedic but have moments of high intensity and action.

COMMENTS FOR BUNGO STRAY DOGS
It's pretty action packed, but also so hilarious you will be cackling my friend. The characters are 10/10 and it's just REALLY GREAT OKAY, if you liked noragami in any way, shape or form you NEED to watch Bungou Stray Dogs. If you're questionable about it (like I was) just watch it i promise you will not regret it.
COMMENTS FOR INUYASHA
Neither the story nor the characters of Noragami have anything in similar to that of Inuyasha. However, there is a similar "feel" to both of them.
-The main heroins of both anime accidentally come into contact with another world.
-Both male lead have a past unknown to the human girl, and a woman from their past.
-The supporting characters are friends who can be counted upon.
-Spirits or demons hunting are daily occurrences.
Inu Yasha is a lengthy anime with a well thought plot and many incidences, where as Noragami is only 12 episode long adaptation of the manga series.

COMMENTS FOR THE MOROSE MONONOKEAN
In my opinion these two are sort of under rated/unknown series (especially FnM) compared to the mainstream ones and end up not getting enough attention, even tho they both deserve more!
They are different from eachother but yet have some strong common points:
- supernatural genre is a very important theme to both, although Noragami tends to have more action while FnM gets to be more dramatic
- creatures like gods, ayakashi, youkai, spirits and whatsover are daily routine for both stories (Noragami is specially mainly setted on gods)
- both main characters have to deal with exorcisms, particoularly FnM, but while the usual term "exorcism" is treated like our classic understanding of it in Noragami (as in: exorcise a bad spirit); in FnM instead the exorcism is nothing of the sort, it's actually a good thing for a spirit being exorcised as it can get him "home", therefor we get to see the point of view of spirits, ayakashi and such which is not that common for series that involve exorcisms. We can say that in FnM the word exorcism shows us a whole brand new idea for it.
- both stories evolve around a job (granting wishes in Noragami and requests of exorcism in FnM), a -supernatural- job, of course.
- like in many series with the supernatural genre, both are about a special world that coexist with ours but that not everyone has the ability to see it or its extraordinary creatures
- they are both a breath of fresh air
So my two cents are: if you liked one of these you might easily enjoy the other too!
COMMENTS FOR XXXHOLIC
Solving problems, offering deals, and dealing with spiritual apparitions. Noragami and xxxHOLiC offer an experience like no other with its supernatural themes.
Both series' main male protagonist are involved with dealing with conflicts that deals with supernatural phenomenons. They take place in a traditional/modern setting with various gags. The supporting characters also play various roles that influences each conflict. There is a good mixture of comedy, drama, and emotional basis that makes both series enjoyable.
