COMMENTS FOR THE FUTURE DIARY
SHORT VERSION:
Similar main characters (in terms of personality, actions and interactions) similar-ish plot. and Gleipnir having amazing fight scenes that sometimes go off-model but it enhances the experience and lastly, there are god-like powers in either show and a god-like figure
LONG-ISH VERSION:
These two shows are similar in the sense that both genres are generic ecchi/action/romance shows. in regards to characters and plot, both lead female characters are psychopathic they both show traits of typical yandere (Claire is less so then Yuki), the lead male character for these shows is your A-typical cry-baby, who doesn't want to hurt people however both progress to change that, there are some similarities in plot however not many, I recommend both series as if you like one you will most likely like the other.
The male main characters in both shows don't have a backbone and instead rely on their partners.
Both shows are relatively "edgy" and contain a fair amount of violence and action.
Also Kurea and Yuno are both pretty similar in that their insanity drives a lot of the show.

COMMENTS FOR DARWIN'S GAME
Similarities:
1. The same character plot where it has Shundere guy to Sadodere girl.
2. The same story plot where guy got himself in a situation where life or dead is the name of the game.
3. The same level of antagonist that the 2 MC have to deal.
Dissimilarities:
1. Setting in one anime was more like a cyberpunk theme while the other one is more like monster battle kind of theme.
2. One anime has the MC have a team while the other one only involves the 2 of them against other enemies.
3. The Sadodere girl in one anime can really kick and blow an enemy's ass, while the Sadodere girl in the other anime has to depend a lot on his Shundere partner to kick some ass.
Is similar to Darwin's Game in the point of this anime is about of a survival in a paralel dimension but in the same time have a connection with the real world.
The main charecter is quite and a little bit disconnected but in unroll of the story him personality changes most because of other charecter. This two go work together to survive in this different reality.

COMMENTS FOR PARASYTE -THE MAXIM-
Both shows feature similar progression with their main characters, with how through their newly acquired "power", they develop from being naive/helpless, into more serious and unforgiving

COMMENTS FOR KILLING BITES
Both of these are action+ecchi series with an interesting power system, filled with unique abilities and cruel fights. Both have a lot of unnecessary fanservice and a scene of lesbian sex involving the main character (what a coincidence). Killing Bites is doubling down on ecchi and is a show that I would call "trash" (although you still can unironically enjoy its plot). It looks fine (If you can ignore a few ugly CG characters), but Gleipnir's style excels it dramatically. So, Killing Bites is basically a trash~ier version of Gleipnir.

COMMENTS FOR DOROHEDORO
Dorohedoro and Gleinpir both follow protagonists who gain this weird feature about themselves that they wish to know more about.
Dorohedoro follows a powerful Kaiman and his mission is to find out who changed his head into a lizard, as well as the dude who is literally inside him. However, Gleinpir is slightly different, with Shuuichi being feeble, being controlled by Claire who has a leader mindset, being used to her will in this survival game they play.
Both are good anime with Dorohedoro being crazy and unpredictable, unlike Gleinpir containing bits of ecchi and supernatural.

COMMENTS FOR DEADMAN WONDERLAND
he feeble and the insane. Deadman Wonderland and Gleipnir both use characters with personalities of feeble ones and insane ones teaming up to survival wicked games.
Deadman Wonderland has Ganta and Shiro. Gleipnir has Shuuichi and Claire. Ganta acts as the leader between his pair due to Shiro following him around, however, in Gleipnir a much more dominant Claire controls the pair.
Both are good supernatural anime with Deadman Wonderland being for sci-fi horror tastes, Gleipnir being for more ecchi tastes.

COMMENTS FOR DARLING IN THE FRANXX
i think what makes gleipnir so similar is the way the main characters interact with each other. both shows main characters are bonded by fate forever, we see in some scenes how much these characters love each other and what they'll do to be together. in both shows the female protagonist are strong independent but broken characters they both hide behind a mask to look normal to other people. then they meet our male protagonists and instantly they become 2 parts of a separate being you can follow their progress from the first and last episodes. i recommend both anime because of the reality of how deeply connected these characters are with one a other this is something that is truly beauty is its purest form
COMMENTS FOR SHIKI
Both are terrific dark fantasy/horror anime about monsters who have to fight and kill in order to survive and have a place in their worlds. They both feature monsters that are still quite human and behave accordingly who are able to feel remorse, sadness, loneliness they even cry and are afraid of "dying"(loseing their current selves). The contrasting dark and colorful art works perfectly with both stories, the characters and the tones that they set make both anime masterpieces.
COMMENTS FOR CENCOROLL
Both feature characters who are able to control/turn into weird looking monsters and a curious girl willing to become a co-pilot of said monster

COMMENTS FOR BIG ORDER (TV)
Crazy powers that feel a bit off, overall theme that is on the borderline of too-out-there / poorly executed but the unpredictability that results is part of the enjoyment. Insane female side kick(s). Def felt very similar vibes.
COMMENTS FOR DORORO

COMMENTS FOR DANGANRONPA: THE ANIMATION
When I first saw the cover, it really reminded me of Dangaronpa. The mood is even similar. If you like your thriller type anime, it’s one for you! But might I ask to check out the games as well, because it’s much better too!

COMMENTS FOR AJIN: DEMI-HUMAN
In Ajin, the existence of these “inhuman” people is common knowledge but the monsters of Gleipnir are but a secret to everyone except the parties involved. However, both Ajin and Gleipnir feature main characters whose lives are inadvertently changed because of a strange property present in their bodies. Their situations are both showing the perspective of a high schooler with a promising future having to deal with the violent consequences of being inhuman.

COMMENTS FOR EDEN OF THE EAST
At their core, both are about unravelling the mystery centered around their lost memories while bearing a unique power available to a rare few around them.

COMMENTS FOR TOKYO GHOUL
Both feature MCs struggling with the morals of hurting others to protect their friends and those close to them, and coming to terms with the fact that they are monsters and can no longer fit into regular society. Whilst there are differences in the details, the general emotional and mental journey the MCs take are very similar, although I believe Tokyo Ghoul does it a decent bit better.

COMMENTS FOR RE:ZERO -STARTING LIFE IN ANOTHER WORLD-
Shocking I didn't see this rec'd. To me, Gleipnir felt like a show that was made because of the success of Re:Zero. A sprawling odd plot that is more interested in adding mysteries than solving any. Female cast members have more power, more agency and often more brains than our male MC. A lot of psychologically dark material. Re:Zero is dialed to 11 while Gleipnir is sitting at a comfortable 7 or 8 on the psycho scale but they certainly share similar dna.

COMMENTS FOR THE MELODY OF OBLIVION
I wanted to rec something that gets the dark fantasy, strange world, vibes /and/ the dark sexuality right, where I thought Gleipnir does a pretty poor job with the latter.
Melody of Oblivion does not, still after I can't say how many shows watched one of the most strangely sensual anime I've seen.
The shows are similar in that there is a hidden conflict going on in both worlds that only a select few are aware of and participating in. The manifestation of abilities covers a lot of ground in the monsters of both shows.
