COMMENTS FOR BNA
Anthropomorphic society division. Beastars and BNA both give a protagonist who has to deal with prejudice from their peer race due to their race.
With Beastars, carnivores are looked down upon due to their dangerous natures and are made to force themselves against their instincts for the sake of herbivores and the safety of society. BNA is similar to this approach in that beastman are looked down upon by humans, however, beastman are made to be inferior to humans. Both anime have the same concept of oppressing races, in which protagonists Legoshi and Michiru try to fight against the oppression and societal standards.
Both anime are equally as enjoyable though Beastars is much more dramatic, with BNA having much more action.
The obvious comparison is the anthro animal characters, although their designs and art style are quite different. They both include conflict and/or prejudice between two distinct groups, in BNA it's humans and Beastmen (the anthro characters), while Beastars has carnivores against herbivores, since humans don't exist in that universe. The prejudice is much more extreme in BNA, to the point of having the main character having to run away from home and find safety in an all beastmen city.
Both of them also feature a quiet grey wolf MC. Legoshi from Beastars is very honest, polite and a little awkward, but in a relatable way, while Shirou in BNA is more of the silent and serious type, and initially very hateful towards humans.
Both are fantastic and worth your time!

COMMENTS FOR LAND OF THE LUSTROUS (TV)
They're made by the same studio. Studio Orange really knows how to use 3D with here and there some 2D animation with good camera angels. So if you're looking for a anime with similar animation then give this anime a try.

COMMENTS FOR DOROHEDORO
Both are unique non-cliche works, hard to find resembling anime for both. Both have some unexpected dark and adult material down the road (each in its own way). Both using 3D CGI and at the same time both are a rare cases of art didn't get totally ruined by it like in many other anime last years. Both protagonists have animal traits (though in Dorohedoro protagonist have only lizard head, when in Beastars all characters are anthropomorphic animals) and both of them have funny moments coming from their animal species.

COMMENTS FOR ARASHI NO YORU NI
Friendship and romantic relation between predator and prey species, with rejection by the respective social peer group of the MCs and trials and tribulations to overcome. In both sories the predator species is a wolf, and the MCs are some outsiders concerning their groups. In both anime the interspecies friendship is bordering romance, male-female in Beastars and male-male in Arashi. The anthropomorphing in Beastars is stronger (Beastars: furries walking on two legs and clothed, Arashi: 4 legged walking animals with human thought). Beastars has a more complex plot where the romance is just a part of, while Arashi has full focus on the relation of the two MCs.

COMMENTS FOR MY TEEN ROMANTIC COMEDY SNAFU TOO!
There's something really similar about Hikigaya and Legoshi: it's their sincerity towards others and how they are always on the sideline while everyone else seem more important. Also, the wolf-like eyes (Legoshi is literally being a wolf though). Both shows take place in a school setting and tackle life problems with other people.
Because of the resemblance I started watching Beastars so you might check it out, too. Although it takes time to get used to since characters are all animals there.

COMMENTS FOR FROM THE NEW WORLD
On the surface, these two anime could not be more different from each other. However, even though the animation style and premise of Shinsekai Yori is quite different to Beastars, I think both of these shows explore similar themes in similar ways.
They both look at fictional societies that have clear parallels with our own. These societies are presented to us and examined through a cast of young characters that grow and mature through the course of the show. Viewing these fictional and mysterious societies through this lens allows for nuanced themes to be developed. Themes like finding one's own identity, navigating a supposedly 'equal' or 'utopian' society, finding your humanity, and coming to terms with your own strength (or lack thereof) are just some of the themes that both of these anime explore in their own unique ways.

COMMENTS FOR PUELLA MAGI MADOKA MAGICA
It might surprising, but I see quite some similarities with Beastars and my favourite anime.
First of all, both make use of a type of animation rarely seen in anime: stop-motion. More precisely, the OP of Beastars and multiple witches and their labyrinths in PMMM are animated according to this style. Second, their OSTs are splendid (in my opinion, PMMMs is by far richer and much more varied, that without even counting the trilogy of movies) and the soundtracks are fitting like a glove to the scenes.
Third, they make great use of symbolisms to express their themes. Fourth, they both take a respective concept and toy with it in a way that shows how it would be translated to reality: in Beastars, that of a society of anthropomorphic animals whereas in Madoka, that of magical girls fighting monsters-of-the-week on behalf of a cute mentor-mascot. Both display the implications for these settings, if played realistically, but also use them as a vehicle to pass messages for people in real-life.

COMMENTS FOR PING PONG THE ANIMATION
Although their stories are miles apart from one another, what both shows really excel in is their characters. The way they behave, think and feel is depicted in such a nuanced, realistic and human-like manner that you can’t help but care for them and their struggles. Highly recommended if you appreciate layered and complex characters.

COMMENTS FOR HIGH SCORE GIRL
The every day life of younglings falling in love but is of different kind/status.
Truth be told they feel very similar even though the settings are very different.
At the core they grab you and drag you along a journey of something that should be slow and boring but refuses to let you go and clings to you untill the end.

COMMENTS FOR DEVILS' LINE
A love story between two different species.
The guy is the awkward one and the girl is the confident one.
The girl is in danger because of the guy.
Also, there's that lovely hint of awkwardness in their love life as they struggle to figure out what they can do with each other.
