COMMENTS FOR DR. STONE
Power of knowledge. Even in a world distant to the current time. Stories Dr Stone and Ascendance of a Bookworm show what the power of knowledge can give to people who use such information well.
Dr Stone follows science genius Senku, using the power of science, in his attempt to save the world after all humans turned into stone. Bookworm follows a bookworm Urano who has reincarnated as Myne, in a world similar to that of the middle ages, devoid of books. Both protagonists starting from nothing, grow their way back up with human knowledge almost passed down to them in order to bring a world that has no resemblance to the present time world back to the present world they knew and loved.
Both are good comedy anime following smart people trying to override the way of life back to how it once was.
The premise of an "encyclopedia"-like brainiac protagonist is remarkably similar in both shows. Honzuki no Gekokujou, belonging firmly to the Seinen genre, is more melodramatic and drama-driven in general whereas Dr.stone, leaning more towards shounen, is more upbeat and exaggerated with supporting drama and action elements. As an imperfect analogy HnG is the Seinen counterpart of Dr. Stone and so should appeal to fans of Dr.Stone that also enjoy Seinen.

COMMENTS FOR MY NEXT LIFE AS A VILLAINESS: ALL ROUTES LEAD TO DOOM!
Are you tired of seeing isekai that feature some virgin NEET on his adventure to defeat the demon king boss guy or whatever alongside girls whose only purpose is ecchi fanservice?
Well then, I offer you these 2 anime! They are isekai, so of course they have the protagonist somehow transported into another world, but instead of following copy paste stories like the Shield Hero, Re Zero, or KonoSuba, both protagonists follow different goals as they go through their new world. Katarina's goal is to simply survive an otome game world, while Myne's goal is to read as many books as possible.
Both anime show what isekai can potentially be other than RPG-styled "defeat the final boss" battle stories.

COMMENTS FOR SPICE AND WOLF
A large emphasis of both shows is placed on the mercantile aspect of medieval life. The main difference comes in the roles of the characters. In Spice and Wolf, the protagonists simply transport the goods, while in Bookworm, they actually produce the goods. Both have a great deal of adventure, but in different ways. While Lawrence and Holo travel the lands in Spice and Wolf, the protagonists of Bookworm, Main and Lutz, rarely leave town, with the forest outside the city being a journey in and of itself. It doesn't stop the viewer from feeling like they're on an adventure anyway though, as Main is read more
COMMENTS FOR ERIN
Similar main characters. Both are young girls with headstrong personalities. They both find interesting ways to solve problems in their worlds and are passionate about their "jobs" you could say.

COMMENTS FOR SOMALI AND THE FOREST SPIRIT

Somali is one of the few humans remaining in a world overun by humanoid monsters that have hunted and persecuted humans to the brink of extinction. COMMENTS FOR THAT TIME I GOT REINCARNATED AS A SLIME
Similar vibes. I would classify them as the same 'type' of isekai. The MC travels to another world and, using his/her skills from our world, improves or better the new world.
Both MCs are kind of know-it-all characters and interestingly, both also have blue hair. They both are a bit too perfect and can do nothing wrong, I guess, but Rimuru (Slime) is also definitely OP.

COMMENTS FOR KNIGHT'S & MAGIC
both have adult professional MC's isekai (one a computer programmer the other a librarian ) by reincarnation that are placed in the bodies of children. both MC are driven by their passion one mecha the other books. both are fairly laid back anime.
differences one was isekai as a noble the other a peasant. K&M is far more action while Bookworm is a more slice of life but with some dark undertone

COMMENTS FOR UCHI NO KO NO TAME NARABA, ORE WA MOSHIKASHITARA MAOU MO TAOSERU KAMO SHIRENAI.
The main characters of both shows (Latina and Myne) are young, cute girls who are out of place in the setting of the story. While Latina's personality is sweeter and quieter than Myne's with her tendency to leap before looking and her occasional pouting, they share a determination for their goals. The shows are set in Middle Ages inspired, pseudo-European worlds with magic, and both girls have protective family and friend characters around them. There are some similarly-themed tensions (don't want to give any spoilers), and overall these are light viewing experiences w/ some heartfelt moments and comedy.

COMMENTS FOR WOLF CHILDREN
An anomaly child. Ascendance of a Bookworm and Wolf Children both follow anomalies in their relative world and how they stand out from the rest, which causes these characters to learn about the restrictions these worlds have upon them.
Bookworm’s Urano Motosu is made to become Myne in which effectively made her a child prodigy from the future, her restrictive boundaries are the inability to live as she once did. Wolf Children’s Ame and Yuki are literal wolf children who have to learn to stay in bounds of how normal humans act like.
Both are good supernatural anime where Bookworm is a journey from nothing to what had once existed, Wolf Children is a dramatic coming of age about how wolf children grow on an earth similar to ours.

COMMENTS FOR THE JOURNEY OF ELAINA
I believe that they are both similar because 1) the setting is on a fantasy world even though Majo no Tabitabi is not an isekai. 2) both MCs are very knowledgable and they both love books 3) We can see that they both a loving family. Lastly, it premieres in Muse Asia. Both Mcs are set to their Goals and they are not giving up. The source materials of these shows are highly rated tankobons.

COMMENTS FOR MAQUIA: WHEN THE PROMISED FLOWER BLOOMS
Unexpected upbringing. Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms and Ascendance of a Bookworm both follow protagonists who end up in a family they truly do not belong with. However, as time goes forth, these protagonists end up finding their way into a place in the family.
Promised Flower has Maquia raise Ariel despite being an Iorph for the human child. Bookworm has intellect Urano Motosu become Myne, in a time during the past trying to live with all the differences from her old life.
Both are interesting anime with Bookworm coming across as worldbuilding. Promised Flower being a great coming of age drama.

COMMENTS FOR FROM THE NEW WORLD
SSY and Ascendance of a Bookworm Both female protagonist in each series are intelligent and have a strong passion and interest of their own. They work hard towards their goal in mind and overall gave me similar kind of feeling. If you want to watch something a little bit more lighthearted than "shinsekai yori",

COMMENTS FOR THE GREAT PASSAGE
The main characters channel their passion and energy into making books - although while Honzuki is about books in general, Fune wo Amu is about dictionaries specifically. The slow pace draws viewers into the story, and amid the slow process of book-making, the protagonists build interesting relationships with those around them.
COMMENTS FOR ARTE
Both have a passionate woman protagonist. Myne is passionate about books, Arte is about art.
Both are set in the Middle Ages. However, Ascendance of a Bookworm is a fantasy and Arte isn't.
Masters and apprentices systems are somewhat represented in both. More broadly in Ascendance of a Bookworm though because it focuses also on Lutz's apprenticeship in the merchant's guild. Arte focuses solely on art.
Protagonists have to deal with hindrances in their pursuits. Myne because she's a commoner in position usually held only by nobles and Arte has to deal with discrimination against women because in those times art was a man's profession only.
Myne's relationship with Ferdinand is similar to Arte's relationship with Leo. A naive enthusiastic girl and a stern mentor figure.

COMMENTS FOR SPICE AND WOLF II
Each entertain with drama and comedy relief, while also surrounding its story's respective characters and plot points among microeconomic concepts, game theory, innovation, or entrepreneurship, in a pre-Renaissance European-type setting. Dialogue-heavy and rich in commentary about human psychology, the two anime offer a lot of substance in terms of character interaction, and will please those who muster the patience for slow-burning (but ultimately rewarding) productions.
If you enjoyed the intellectualism of Spice and Wolf, then you'll be in good company when watching Ascendance of a Bookworm.

COMMENTS FOR WELCOME TO DEMON SCHOOL! IRUMA-KUN
-Both feature protagonists thrust into a world in which they must use their specialized skills from Earth (survival tactics vs book/craft knowledge) to survive
-Both feature somewhat younger child characters as the protagonist
-Both are a little slower paced but give a lot of detail and attention to their respective fantasy worlds
-Both are a little hampered by lower production values, but make up for it in their writing
-Both protagonists have blue hair (almost entirely inconsequential but a little funny nontheless)

COMMENTS FOR LEGEND OF THE GALACTIC HEROES
Much like Yang's obsession with history books, Myne is similarly obsessed with reading in general, and that drives them to accomplish many other things.
