COMMENTS FOR ATTACK ON TITAN
As other recommendations have said, these shows were made by the same studio and have too many similar qualities to count. I can almost guarantee that if you like one of these series, you will the other. Similarities include:
- a revenge-motivated protagonist with unique natural ability for combat
- similar protagonists as a whole. honestly
- blurred moral lines
- violence
- similar art and combat scenes
- unique setting. Vinland Saga is a rare historical anime surrounding what best is summarized as the Viking age, while Attack on Titan appears to be in a foreign alternative universe that shares some similarities to medieval England.
COMMENTS FOR BERSERK
If you like realistic in anime standarts fight scenes but don't really like shounen style fighting scenes -you know, in most of the shounen fights, characters moves so fast and talks so much while fighting and this kills mood- and also like some darkness in the story then good for you o/ you gonna love these two animes.
If you liked Vinland Saga, you gonna like Berserk too. Same goes other way around.

COMMENTS FOR THE HEROIC LEGEND OF ARSLAN
I've seen first 3 episodes so far of Vinland. Both these anime have a young male protagonist in a historic time period. Vinland seems to be setting up for a war to take place in it and Arslan Senki was all about wars.
COMMENTS FOR 91 DAYS
Both protagonists join a group of people who they're set on getting revenge. They make question what indeed is bad and what a good ''side''. Both give right away that they're historical and they don't refrain from using cold-blooded measures.
COMMENTS FOR DORORO
Both are stories of revenge, tragedy, and facing oneself. The greatest similarity though, is it takes a person who was completely innocent and undeserving of the horrors they are subjected to, and through their trauma turns them into unrecognizable monsters too blind and obsessed to come to terms with their past or look to the future. Or even appreciate what they have. The main character's corruption spreads through and around them like a cancer until it consumes them until they have to face the consequences.

COMMENTS FOR MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM: THE ORIGIN
Both Thorfinn and Casval serve the murderers of their fathers, making a name for themselves as skilled merciless warriors on the battlefield in the hopes of an opportunity to take revenge upon their own leaders.
There are differences in their upbringing however, Thorfinn lived humbly with a fairly average family under a caring warrior father. We see his childhood as having fun, enjoying a naive conception of fighting and war.
Casval, on other hand, is somewhat of a noble, raised by a politician with a messiah complex.

COMMENTS FOR GOLDEN KAMUY
they both have the same adventure schtick: """ragtag group of interesting, fleshed out, dynamic characters go about a particular outlandish objective blocked by eccentric but equally as interesting antagonist/s in a relatively historical, realistic setting""".
they become even more similar as vinland saga progresses, mind those who've only seen the anime.
but, golden kamuy has more comedy.
COMMENTS FOR KINGDOM
If you're looking for another action packed historical seinen with war and bloodshed revolving around royalty for the sake of land, power or ect, then look no further.
Both of these series have likeable and distinguishable characters that stand out out from the rest for us to get attached to. Each have their own type of "OP" or stronger characters that clearly stand out from the rest of foot soldiers and make each of the battles so enjoyable to watch, vikings in the case of Vinland saga or war generals for Kingdom. So if you want to see some strong muscle boys duking it out on the battlefield, Kingdom is a great place to go from here.
Each of these series approach their wars and battles not a straight forward manner but with carefully planned strategic moves that keep the viewer on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. Kingdom is on grander scale of war when you compare the number of people in each of the armies to the ones in Vinland Saga, but it does a great job of treating war a lot like a game of chess and not using just power to win the battles.
In each anime the main characters of both have a clear reason for wanting to gain power and strength. The relationships each of the main characters develop with characters along the way of achieving that are where both of these two shine. You get to see each character grow and develop in their own way, so if you want something with more meaning to events in the story, Kingdom also has progression for it's characters.
The first season of Kingdom starts out with CG for it's large scale battle scenes so it might catch you off guard if you're jumping right into it but in season 2 they switch to a more classic anime style at least of the movements of main characters. (and season 3 was announced not too long ago). Kingdom's manga has an amazing art detail and over 600 chapters going strong weekly, so if you finish season 2 and want to sign up for more of the story you have that option.
Conclusion: The types of tones both of these give off is very similar and show us that war is nothing a minor thing to trifle with. Both were extremely enjoyable for me and I hope some are able to discover a show they didn't know about until this. Thanks for reading.

COMMENTS FOR AKAME GA KILL!
Revenge. Revenge can build people. Revenge can make people stronger, more heartless maybe. This is true for Akame ga Kill and Vinland Saga. Somewhat unknowledgeable MCs Tatsumi and Thorfinn find themselves burning for revenge after seeing those close to them perish.
A story of growth through the harsh realities that expectations misrepresented, AGK has Tatsumi join the Night Raid to destroy the empire, while Vinland Saga has Thorfinn sail out with Askeladd in hopes to achieve his goal.
Both are dark, harsh, but honest anime on what is is really like.

COMMENTS FOR ANGOLMOIS: RECORD OF MONGOL INVASION
Both have a dark and gritty animation style
Vikings like Ships, Mongols like Ships
Both have a prince/princess that needs to face character growth to lead their people
Things don't always end happily
COMMENTS FOR ONE PIECE
The theme of honor is quite frequent in both series, treated by warriors, both swordsmen and giant Vikings. Even the latter believe in the god Elbaf, whom they pray before the battles, in their own "little garden" arch.

COMMENTS FOR JORMUNGAND
Both anime follow a young protagonist with combat capabilities, Jormungand following a modern child soldier while Vinland Saga follows a teenage viking. The deuteragonists of both stories also have some similar character traits such as being cunning and in charge of a military force. Also it should be mentioned that the name Jormungand comes from a Norse mythology which many of the characters from Vinland Saga believe in.

COMMENTS FOR DOROHEDORO
Fighter. Vinland Saga and Dorohedoro both follow strong protagonists, on the level of natural-born warriors.
Vinland Saga follows Thorfinn in his revenge against Askeladd, growing along the way to get stronger and stronger. Dorohedoro follows strong fighter Kaiman in his journey to take back his head and find out more of who dwells within his body.
Both are good anime featuring the same amount of action on every detail. With Dorohedoro being slightly comedic, Vinland Saga is based on history.

COMMENTS FOR SAMURAI X: TRUST AND BETRAYAL
Both are historical epics with Great protagonists who after a life of killing live to redeem themselves.Vinland Saga is like Kenshin in Europe,of course with the necessary changes.Vinland is in Medieval Europe and Kenshin in Feudal Japan. Both respectively focus on the European Vikings and Japanese Samurai culture. Both have real life historical characters in them and what makes Kenshin and Thorfinn stand out among other redemption characters are the unique way in which they go about earning their redemptions.
Here's the main thing now.The Kenshin OVA and Vinland Saga season 1 focus on Kenshin and Thorfinn's past lives.Unlike the OG Kenshin Anime which has comedy the OVA is very much darker without any comedy. So the tone won't be different from Vinland. If you want to see their redemption arcs then you can read the RK manga or watch the OG anime both are amaizing just don't watch season 3 unless you really want to,it's filler and for Vinland Saga you can wait for season 2 or read the manga which is also a masterpiece.

COMMENTS FOR RINGING BELL
Did you also think that the plot of Vinland Saga was original? Well I don't think so. If you take a look at Chirin no Suzu you will realize what I say. It is basically the same plot. The mother of the protagonist Chirin is killed by the Wolf while protecting his life, like Thors, Thorfinn's father is killed by Askelad. Both protagonists will seek revenge, but instead they will grow as people and understand how cruel life is, and learn from those who once murdered their loved ones, giving a great lesson in the end.

COMMENTS FOR ELFEN LIED
The hatred and rage one bares within them is not to be underestimated, all is known too well for the characters Lucy and Thorfinn.
Both Vinland Saga and Elfen Lied give a story of someone whose life when they were younger tell them the horrible truth of the world and how it takes away from you or gives you the worst. The two grow up to become killing machines in their respective anime, sometimes being exploited when they are at an intense state of destruction.
Both are good action stories of fighting what the world has given, with Vinland Saga being historical, Elfen Lied being psychological and horrific.
COMMENTS FOR BERSERK
Both have a medival badass rampaging around, they also both contain alot of blood and violence. Both are a good watch and share common links

COMMENTS FOR DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA
I enjoyed both of these series significantly. While Vinland Saga has countless differences from Demon Slayer, including genre (historical), violence level (far more violent than Demon Slayer), and protagonist personalities, one will likely enjoy both as:
- both are shonen (to my knowledge)
- both protagonists are talented in combat
- both are motivated by their family relationships in the main plot. In Demon Slayer, the protagonist is motivated to save/work with his sister despite her inhuman nature, and Vinland Saga was born out of the protagonist's desire for revenge for his father.
- There are quite a few combat scenes in both.
- Both are newer shows, so they have vibrant and up-to-date art and fun soundtracks to appeal to today's audience.
It is worth noting that Vinland Saga has much more of a mature vibe and world-building than Demon Slayer, so one who enjoys the maturity and historical aspect of Vinland Saga might be turned off by the Demon Slayer.
