COMMENTS FOR MY TEEN ROMANTIC COMEDY SNAFU
Both series have a protagonist who appears completely disinterested in everything with average intelligence and poor social skills. But in fact is highly skilled in a variety of fields and has amazing understanding for the essence of situations he finds himself in. A female protagonist who is cold and maintains distance from people achieving an unapproachable feel to herself. She has poor social skills, but above average intelligence and beauty to match her academic skills.
Both anime have the same groups of students interacting with each other, the popular kids, the athletic kids, the smart kids. And of course our protagonists do not fit in any because of their unique personalities.

COMMENTS FOR ASSASSINATION CLASSROOM
The similarity between the two anime is that they both focus on Education related fields. Both take place in high school and make sure each and every character has a part in the plot. Both are enjoyable but due to the dynamic change of evens it keeps the audience glued to their seats and keeps on building the suspense even after the current events are over but carving a way for the future events to unfold.
These two anime are about classes who have an hierarchy of best classes VS worst classes and the two of them is focusing on the worst class (Assassination Classroom : Class E / Classroom of the elite : Class D)
The plot are different so you don't have the feeling that it's the literal same anime since the plot of one is to kill their professor and the other is to become Class A, but you can still find a lot of similarities.

COMMENTS FOR BAKA & TEST - SUMMON THE BEASTS
The opposite sudden term of the most lowest rank section filled with bunch of worthless pricks or idiots for fun. Neither most of them are meaningless scumbags which points are wasted in every decay but the tense of humor and atmosphere are not the same.

COMMENTS FOR KAKEGURUI: COMPULSIVE GAMBLER
Both are quite psychological anime. Both have main characters, who at the beginning of a conflict appears to be losing but towards the end pulls a stunt and changes the game to their advantage. Both have extremely intelligent main characters who wins go about overcoming the conflict at there own pace and using proper strategy. Both have a school setting, which has a hierarchy, in Kakegurui its how skilled you are in gambling. And last but not least, the uniforms are very similar.
one of the differences that may stick out is, Classroom of the Elite has a lot of slice-of-life aspects to it, while in Kakegurui its almost conflict after conflict moving the story forward at all times.
i hope you enjoy the anime like i did.

COMMENTS FOR THE IRREGULAR AT MAGIC HIGH SCHOOL
The two most important aspect about classroom of the elites are 1.) the character and 2.) the setting/environment. Things like plot are just a by-product of these two interacting and not what you should be looking for if searching for an anime similar to this show.
The characters’ background of being smart and witty as well as mysterious/unknown to others is a very simple yet basic comparison between the two. Chances are, you like this troupe of the underdog protagonist surprising pretentious enemies.
The importance of the setting here is what filters out every other show that has an overpowered protagonist as the premise. The background of these special school system has the ability to attract you to the show in the beginning as well as create situations (special exams vs competitions) that allow the characters to truly reveal their strength.
If you are simply looking for an anime with overpowered character, you can just do an advanced search under the Shonen category, but if you want an anime that is similar to Classroom of the Elite, then the Irregulars at the Magic High School is most likely what you are looking for.
COMMENTS FOR HYOUKA
Classroom of the Elite is settled in a modern and technological youth life whereas Hyouka is settled in a combination of rural and urban youth life. What should be looked in both are the True MCs. They are both similar in many things. The philosophies, idealisms, and perspectives towards life and the confident reasonings and retaining of their self-image are similar (not the same) between the two. The similar things they both share cling onto simplicity but the difference is that all those similar things come from different influences where one is influenced by the serious competition of society (Classroom of the Elite) and the other is influenced by the mysteries and nature of life (Hyouka).

COMMENTS FOR THE FRUIT OF GRISAIA
Watching Classroom of the Elite really reminded me of Grisaia. The MCs are very similar, and the main supporting characters/harem around the MCs are similar too. Even the themes resemble each other to a large extent, both revolve around the protagonist helping a bunch of girls with their respective issues, Grisaia to a larger extent than Classroom of the Elite.
Parts of the storylines in both verge towards the ridiculous. They both have a relatively large amount of unnecessary fanservice, but nice animation and sound.
Classroom of the Elite does the school aspect better and focusses on the environment more, but Grisaia has better developed characters and a more complex plot overall.
Grisaia is also quite a bit more mature than Classroom of the Elite.
Nonetheless, if you liked one, you might as well give the other a try. XD

COMMENTS FOR DANGANRONPA: THE ANIMATION
There are striking similarities with these two anime shows. The stories are about a set of students in an isolated academy, who are striving towards being the sole (class or alone) graduate by either killing other students or having them expelled. The main female leads are seemingly cold-hearted people who remain calm but are accommodated with flaws, in spite of wanting to appear perfect. There are characters who bear a wide range of personality traits such as being gentle or cold. The more interesting factor is that students pretend to fall under certain categories to acquire advantages that are beneficial for said students.
Because of the nature the shows carry, the atmosphere exuded is heavy and characters utilize their wit to remain unscathed by others, which includes not getting betrayed. There are exams that students partake in that tests the abilities of said students. In Danganronpa, it's trials whilst Classroom of the Elite offers a multitude of exams.

COMMENTS FOR MUNOU NA NANA
Both stories focus on Elite Classes, the two high schools are far from the outside world and are prohibited from contacting it. In both series there are psychological analyzes of the characters, and we have analytical, logical, observant characters and manipulative and intelligent characters.
There are mysteries and other interesting and well planned things. Both works are similar in that sense. The main difference is that Munou na Nana has a supernatural setting and YouJitsu is a Slice of Life.

COMMENTS FOR NO GAME, NO LIFE
Is it only me, or these two is pretty similar? Maybe the music in Youkoso just remind me of NGNL. But i think the main premise is pretty similar. About an underdog, a group at the bottom of the list, trying to do what everyone said impossible and trying to becoma the number one despite their flaw. They usually achieve this through using cuninngnes, which we didn't realize until the climax where (usually) the protagonist explain something ordinary in the previous one, or two episode which became something crucial to determine the winner. They also use a loophole, or the wording in a certain rules to take full advantage of it. While NGNL is an isekai, fantasy anime with magic and stuff going on, Youkoso have a real world setting, with no magical power whatsoever.

COMMENTS FOR LOVE, ELECTION AND CHOCOLATE
while classroom of the elite takes itself way to serious they are really similar because they both create a setting where the school is more like a country rather then a school though chocolate focuses more on romance and is more light hearted but if you like the setting of elite you will most likely like chocolate vice versa

COMMENTS FOR MY TEEN ROMANTIC COMEDY SNAFU CLIMAX!
Some similarities can be drawn between the two series:
- Main female protagonist look very much alike (Horikita and Yukinoshita)
- Plot revolves primarily around school in both
- MC's are kind of similar in that they are socially inept
If you enjoy Oregairu you will most probably enjoy Classroom of the Elite too!
COMMENTS FOR CHARLOTTE
Both stories are, of course, set in high school but there's more than that. The main characters share experiences: making new friends in a brand new school, adventures to find a truth or build a relationship, and a good opening... Both shows also focus on a 'minority' group of students (geniuses? in Youkoso and kids w/powers in Charlotte).
Also, I watched them each in 3 days... what am I doing with my life...

COMMENTS FOR CODE GEASS: LELOUCH OF THE REBELLION
- Both Mcs are intelligent and strategical.
- Both Mcs face in strategy based games.
- Both MCs are going against something (eg government and other classes).
COMMENTS FOR ONE OUTS
Tokuchi and Ayanokouji are similar. Both of them are really smart and they outsmart their enemies pretty easily. They also dont reveal their true intentions to other characters.
money (in youkoso case points) play big part in the stories
COMMENTS FOR KIZNAIVER
Despite being driven by logic and progressing the plot using plenty of technical and theoretical details, both anime drive our attention to the psychological tendencies of characters and their way of interacting with their environment.
Each story takes place in a reclaimed territory (Youkoso -- Koudo Ikusei Senior High School, Kiznaiver -- Sugomori City), processing some kind of a special plan for advancing society (being world peace in Kiznaiver, and highly educated students with guaranteed university admission and employment in Youkoso). Consequently, the main setup of the plot are (teenage) main characters who try to deal with the challenges and trials imposed on them from above by a powerful system.
The main male characters resemble each other in their behavior and speech expressing a low range of emotions, and share a seemingly similar past which, assumingly, brought them to be the way they are currently presented.
Finally, Youkoso and Kiznaiver both have a colorful, clean graphic style with high quality visuals.
Those who enjoyed either of them apparently would like the other one, too.

COMMENTS FOR THE MILLIONAIRE DETECTIVE – BALANCE: UNLIMITED
Both these anime are truly amazing, they both show different sides of mystery and adventure. I would recommend that if you like one you’ll like the other. Balance unlimited was a quick love for me, as soon as I saw the first episode I knew that it would become one of my favourites. However compared to that Classroom of the Elite was slow to begin for me, but as I got to know the main character I was hooked, he was just too interesting. But this could be related to the fact that the main character is apathetic in a way that draws watchers in.

COMMENTS FOR CHOYOYU!: HIGH SCHOOL PRODIGIES HAVE IT EASY EVEN IN ANOTHER WORLD!
While one is isekai and not fantasy themed and the other highschool classroom themed, both have very similar vibe. Both try but actually don't discuss some philosophy questions. The protagonists fight through strategy against the current antagonists. Both have enough fanservice to sustain the shallower viewer and both are similarly short.

COMMENTS FOR THE EDEN OF GRISAIA
Similarities:
Both of the MCs have hidden, tragic pasts that turn them into cold, calculated, and close to emotionless badasses.
Thus, both the MCs are very strong.
Similar harem type concept in both hows with the girls in the harems also being special in more psychological terms.
Very similar art style and production, had to even check if they were made by the same studio.
Very similar twisted side of human nature shown in both shows, the distinct and powerful Grisaia type art is used in both.
Differences:
Youkoso is less fucked up and psychologically demented and ugly overall, at least by ep 7, Grisaia definitely takes that aspect farther.
Also no incest in Youkoso so far, unless imouto ends up getting raped by seitokaicho or some tragic past of hers is revealed.
