COMMENTS FOR NO GAME, NO LIFE
The term ‘Overpowered’ simply cannot be expressed enough time and time again. There is no better feeling than putting oneself in the public spotlight to be look down upon by a superior being only for that food chain to be turned around and giving the hunter a taste of its own medicine.
‘Kakegurui’ hammers in an environment where power and position are determined by a person’s sheer will to control fate which in turn excludes fair play in an unwritten rule. The storyline and character development paves well with its gender inequality as can be seen by a lack of male characters at top positions but nonetheless can be considered a success for the show’s vision. Being able to reach the pinnacle of your dreams and lose it all in an instant will no doubt deliver incessant satisfaction to the audience with many indulging on the sweetness of revenge.
‘No Game No Life’ focuses on a journey by a pair of siblings that would love nothing more than to incite world domination. Unlike ‘Kakegurui’, the vibrant colourful animation sets a lighter tone to an otherwise competitive wonderland. Comedy is another element that plays right into the pleasant storyline due to the likability of the characters in the show. Armed with admirable intelligence and the hunger for success, the siblings venture out into the world in hopes of achieving greatness and being worshipped as the true almighty in their new world.
Two places where games and gambling are everything to them; a school in Kakegurui and a whole world in No Game No Life. But when unlikely characters enter these places; a girl to the school and a guy with his little sister, they will show strange ways to play. These two anime revolve around the concept of games. They show psychological battles when playing games, that become such an entertaining watch for both anime.

COMMENTS FOR KAIJI: ULTIMATE SURVIVOR
Both anime revolve around the theme of gambling - and the gambles come at very high and risky stakes. Furthermore, the gambles are placed over several different types of gambling games in both series. Kakegurui tends to be more fast paced which makes it enjoyable and entertaining, yet Kaiji still manages to keep the thrilling feeling throughout the episodes - making it no less enjoyable.
In terms of mc, the series do differ. In Kakegurui, the mc (Jabami) is a genius and pretty girl, whereas Kaiji (from Kaiji (duh)) is a junkie loser. However, both characters are gambling addicts, and get fired up in the game.

COMMENTS FOR CLASSROOM OF THE ELITE
Both are quite psychological anime. Both have main characters, who at the beginning of a conflict appears to be losing but towards the end pulls a stunt and changes the game to their advantage. Both have extremely intelligent main characters who wins go about overcoming the conflict at there own pace and using proper strategy. Both have a school setting, which has a hierarchy, in Kakegurui its how skilled you are in gambling. And last but not least, the uniforms are very similar.
one of the differences that may stick out is, Classroom of the Elite has a lot of slice-of-life aspects to it, while in Kakegurui its almost conflict after conflict moving the story forward at all times.
i hope you enjoy the anime like i did.

COMMENTS FOR FOOD WARS! SHOKUGEKI NO SOMA
The obvious comparison is the fact that there is an orgasm almost every episode over something people normally don't have orgasms to.
one more thing that's similar are the mind games, not sure if i'm remembering right but most of the time you never hear what Souma or Yumeko are thinking, instead it's the tag along (Tadokoro & Suzui) that have a game going through their head and going into a panic over what is gonna happen and how Souma/Yumeko is gonna win this.
you also see the thoughts going through their over confident opponent and how they go into total madness when they realize that they will be absolutely BTFO'd.

COMMENTS FOR DEATH PARADE
Viewers can quickly notice the similarity of art styles from both shows - exaggerated facial expressions, 3DCG for stuffs that aren't characters. Both also involve games with high stakes.

COMMENTS FOR PRISON SCHOOL
Kakegurui is best described as the 'Gambling School' equivalent to Prison School. Femdom over the top absurdity with similar, liptastic art styles. Entertaining if you can forgive mostly self-aware silliness.
Unfortunately tits & arse perversion are largely replaced by orgasmic-ahegho faces in Kakegurui, but heyho: tights do it for me. And that ending animation.
COMMENTS FOR ONE OUTS
Simply put both anime are about mind games. the main character is some kind of genius who knows how to manipulate his opponents.

COMMENTS FOR DEATH NOTE
Not exactly similar in terms of plot, but both have twisted main characters, and a very dark overall feel to the anime. There is a common obsessive desire between Light (Death Note), and Yumeko (Kakegurui), and that is to maintain power and dominance over everyone else.

COMMENTS FOR DOREI-KU THE ANIMATION
The same wicked plot where people get themselves into situations where losing is not an option if one is incapable of facing the consequences.

COMMENTS FOR DANGANRONPA: THE ANIMATION
Kakegurui and Danganronpa are similar in the way that it shares an unfathomably dark school setting. Each trial is a matter of life and death for the students and everything that is important to them is at stake. The characters have to be logical in moving forward and expect the unexpected.

COMMENTS FOR KILL LA KILL
OP female MC enters a new school and challenges the students, one by one, making her way up the student council; Kakegurui's conflicts are based on gambling and mind games, whereas Kill la Kill's conflicts are based on fighting and determination, and also outwitting the opponent.
COMMENTS FOR YU☆GI☆OH!
the issue of having certain drama in the games is the same in both and they also make use of "protagonist who plays games but he is infinitely smarter than all the other players" and even then they lose the times.

COMMENTS FOR TOUHAI DENSETSU AKAGI: YAMI NI MAIORITA TENSAI
The plot is similar.
The main character is extremely good in a game he/she just get presented.
Behind him/her us always a person dumb enough to study what the main character is doing.
The main difference is that in Kakegurui the mc lose at times, but in Akagi it does not

COMMENTS FOR KAGUYA-SAMA: LOVE IS WAR
Both are shounen/seinen anime where the battle system has to do with mind games. Kakegurui is about gambling and they play mind games by deceiving their opponents and cheating. Kagyua-sama is about to people playing mind games on each other and trying to get the other person to confess to them.
So put simply they're shounen/seinen shows about mind games.

COMMENTS FOR SAGA OF TANYA THE EVIL
It's absolutely not same as genre or story or etc, but you will find one thing.
The MC is crazy af. Yandere, yeah that's it. If Kakegurui means "let's gamble like crazy", then this anime means "let's war like crazy".

COMMENTS FOR KAIJI: AGAINST ALL RULES
Only two episodes of Kakegurui have been released but there are some obvious simulaties between the two shows. And I am actually stoked about the fact there there is another anime about gambling!
In both anime's it seems like outsmarting people in the games they play and how they do it is really important. It seems Kakegurui's pace is a lot faster, since its one game per episode atleaased for now. If I had to explain Kakegurui it would probably be the story of GBK merged with the style and pase of death parada.

COMMENTS FOR JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE: DIAMOND IS UNBREAKABLE
Basically JoJo's but with generic-looking anime characters and gambling as its plot. I wouldn't call it a gambling anime though, it's very hard to explain an anime which is similar to JoJo's with posing and absurd ways of defeating enemies, so I'll just call it a bizarre anime.

COMMENTS FOR [C] CONTROL - THE MONEY AND SOUL OF POSSIBILITY
They both involve gambling. C is more philosophical, Kakegurui is more oriented on the gaming strategy aspect. Kakegurui is lighter, if you will.

COMMENTS FOR JORMUNGAND
The female leads have similar designs and personalities; they also have a habit of smiling at weird times to the point where one would see them as insane. Both series deal with strategies and deceit. They are both dark at points in time, but have some humor. The art style is similar too.
Though one is set in a school and most of the deaths are social deaths, the other is set in big cities most of the time and has real killing.

COMMENTS FOR TOKYO GHOUL
Both of these fantastic anime relate to psychology and shows fantastic character development, especially in Tokyo Ghoul. Both do deal with relationships, with Tokyo Ghoul focusing more on what constitutes as a friend, while Kakegurui emphasises the different forms a relationship can take.
However, these two animes have major differences. Firstly, Tokyo Ghoul is much more unrealistic than Kakegurui as it contains supernatural elements. It is also a more action-oriented anime, whereas Kakegurui deals with human nature and relationships more. Kakegurui also has 2 MCs; one which is the instigator of almost all the events and one who is more dragged into the situation.
Tokyo Ghoul focuses more on how a person's mindset changes depending on the events and stresses they experience, while Kakergurui emphasises the dark side of human nature: greed, fear and desire.

COMMENTS FOR ANGELS OF DEATH
- Female protagonists
- Bizarre cast of psychopathic characters
- Focus on playing "games" to reach the top "level": for Angels of Death it's escaping the building while for Kakegurui it's taking over the school.
- Similar themes of morality, contemplation of mental stability, etc.
- Personally I prefer Kakegurui since it also has fantastic animation, music, and a much more enjoyable cast to follow! Also has a season 2 in case you're enjoying it and looking for more content.

In both anime, the main female character is extremely sharp and unbeatable. They can win in any situation. Both of them have this amazing unpredictable aura to them. They are sharp and know what they're getting themselves into. They want to spice their lives up. Both anime are very sexual and contains gore. In both anime, the female lead protects the male lead. The female leads in both anime are badass.
