COMMENTS FOR ONE PUNCH MAN
Both series have the same sense of humor and absurd, comedic art packed with high amount of action in each episode, portraying how strong the protagonist is compared to the rest of the characters.

COMMENTS FOR THE DISASTROUS LIFE OF SAIKI K.
Main Protagonist is an overpowered Psychic and is of similar character.
While the vibe is different, the settings come close to each other.
Both are students and have interesting people around the Protagonist.

COMMENTS FOR HINAMATSURI
Middle school, socially awkward, insanely strong esper with a questionable authority figure recommending them/their friends do suspicious jobs? Perfection. Mob and Hina are both OP espers just trying to get through their daily, socially stunted lives with the occasional psychic battle on the side. With their relatively ordinary friends and their fellow espers (not quite as strong, though), they experience heartwarming relationships and life lessons.

COMMENTS FOR MY HERO ACADEMIA
Both are animated by Bones and are very fluent, consistent and overall stylish with animation. Both have pretty rad supernatural elements (MP100 with psychic type powers and BnH focuses on a variety of superhero powers) Both use uncommon shots, camera angles and funky perspectives for fight scenes. Both have a unique style that you won't find in many other shows.
Boku no Hero Academia is less comedy based than Mob Psycho 100 and Mob Psycho 100 has more of a psychedelic vibe, especially with its opening. Boku no Hero Academia has more characters and a slightly more polished style than Mob Psycho 100.
If you enjoyed the animation and artistic innovation of one series, you will probably enjoy the other.
COMMENTS FOR FLCL
Fantastical allegories for male adolescence. These hilarious action series ponder the eternal question: What does it take to be cool and mature? As the protagonist encounters various authority figures, the story explores various possible answers through increasingly crazy battles.
The main difference is that FLCL leaves the interpretation up to the audience. Mob Psycho 100 is very straightforward in its delivery.
COMMENTS FOR AKIRA
Mob Psycho 100 can be described as Akira's more wacky cousin.
Both feature non-adults that possess psychic powers, some innate (e.g. Shigeo and Akira himself), others the result of experimentation and it is the result of the heroes and companions to rescue children/teenagers who possess such power from being used for malicious purposes.

COMMENTS FOR PING PONG THE ANIMATION
If you've watched Ping Pong and liked it. You'll love Mob psycho 100. Just make sure to give it at least 5 episodes before dropping it because the first 3 episodes are gonna be a bit boring. Mob Psycho also has that unique and experimental art-style like Ping Pong, and it has many more bla bla similarities to Ping Pong. And I promise it won't feel like a ditto. I had it as my No. 1 favorite for like a whole year and thought that nothing can come close to how much I like this but Ping Pong gave me the same feeling of when I watched Mob Psycho100.

COMMENTS FOR GREAT TEACHER ONIZUKA
Reigen Arataka and Onizuka are highly similar in character: People who at first glance, would seem like swindlers or frauds. More than that, what makes them similar is, they genuinely care for their sidekicks/students and are ready to protect them from any harm that they may encounter.
Imo, both Reigen's design, as well as character, is heavily inspired by Onizuka. Both also possess that subtle charisma and self-confidence that makes viewers like them.

COMMENTS FOR HUNTER X HUNTER
no one make a recommendation to HxH? okay, the similariity between these 2 animes is in the way they tend to over-expaining something narratively though MPS's was more humorous and yet it's rare to see any anime that put narration dominant in a episode.
COMMENTS FOR NORAGAMI
Supernatural battles and a similar student/mentor relationship at the center. The "mentors" (Yato and Reigen, respectively) are often silly/comic relief/over-the-top, but they can and do get serious for the sake of their students and are genuinely good mentors to them. Also have similar monster designs.

COMMENTS FOR ASSASSINATION CLASSROOM
-Both deal with themes of growing up and understanding yourself
-Both are riddled with comedy at first, but turn into emotional roller coasters in their second seasons
-Both prominently feature a student-teacher relationship
-Both also feature lots of side characters who get their own arcs, helping to flesh out the world as one where not just our main characters are troubled by conflict

COMMENTS FOR THE DISASTROUS LIFE OF SAIKI K. 2
If you enjoy anime with "psychic" characters these are comedy shows that focus on the life of an over powered psychic/esper.
Both shows have great character design, OST's and similar senses of humour.

COMMENTS FOR FROM THE NEW WORLD
"Troubled adolescents are gifted with near-omnipotent psychic powers" is an accurate one-sentence summary of the premises of both shows, though the settings and the moral thrust could not be more different - Mob Psycho has an inspiring and uplifting core, which definitely CANNOT be said for SSY. Oh, and! While Shinsekai Yori's art style and animation aren't nearly as bonkers as MP100, for the most part, there's some really trippy moments which make it worth watching if you like inventive animation.
COMMENTS FOR TRIGUN
Trigun and Mob Psycho both engage with deep philosophical questions relating to violence, nonviolence, and the value of human life. The protagonists are also similar in that they both have immense power, and engage with the responsibility that comes with it.
Mob Psycho is, however, much more lighthearted and comedic than Trigun, and takes a more optimistic tone overall.

COMMENTS FOR JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE: DIAMOND IS UNBREAKABLE
Thoughtful and likable characters using their unique powers to fight each other with themes of friendship and community. Mp100 is basically a kinder and shorter version of part four with even better visuals and music

COMMENTS FOR LOVE, CHUNIBYO & OTHER DELUSIONS!
It remindeds one of Chuunibyou as one of the characters wonders whether Mob (the protagonist) has Chuunibyou, only that Mob's powers are real, so it's like Chuunibyou but with real supernatural powers.
The set of main characters are in their second year of junior high school and undergoing great emotional upheavals and life crisis, so the overall psychological situation of the characters is very similar.

COMMENTS FOR THE TROUBLED LIFE OF MISS KOTOURA
Though Mob Psycho 100 and Kotoura-san are undeniably drastically different series, with the former being primarily a fast-paced action series and the latter being primarily a drama-focused series, I urge anyone who enjoys either of these shows to give the other a chance.
Though the pacing and genres of these shows are different, in both you'll find touching coming-of-age stories about main characters who struggle to come to terms with their psychic powers.
Both have their fair share of comedy and light-hearted scenes to go along with their heavier scenes, and though I would argue that the comedy in MP100 is better timed and hits more often than it does in Kotoura-san, Kotoura-san definitely still has it's share of funny scenes.
If it matters to you, both series also feature school-settings and have some focus on different clubs.
Once again, these series definitely both have some of the same strong points with supernatural and coming-of-age themes, and if you liked one for any of these reasons, I highly recommend checking the other out!

COMMENTS FOR DR. RAMUNE -MYSTERIOUS DISEASE SPECIALIST-
Both shows Tinker with the Bizarre!
A Highschool Kid who works/assists a highly positive sometimes annoy Sensei who work to help people be rid of their issues.
Dr. Ramune however tackles the inner emotions of said patients while Mob Psycho more or less uses them for gags and a means to put the main cast into interesting scenarios.

Both have awesome fights and great action animation.
Both have young main characters that have incredible powers.
Both have older and more experienced characters that guide the younger protagonists on the right path, encouraging them to use their powers to help other people in need.
COMMENTS FOR GINTAMA
Both shows are very funny, but sometimes they have serious moments. In both series, attention is paid to "strange" organizations, whose leaders possess great charisma.

COMMENTS FOR GRAND BLUE DREAMING
What does a show about diving and a show about supernatural, telekinetic powers have in common? The body improvement club! While they serve different purposes narratively, the muscular dudes in both Grand Blue and Mob Psycho serve as the lovable guidance in the series that help the protagonist grow into a better person through their sheer kindness and willpower.

COMMENTS FOR ONE PUNCH MAN 2ND SEASON
Both are based on manga/webcomic by the same creator ONE. They both have similar art styles, character designs & humour. Both main characters have the same bored/uninterested expressions on their faces most of time and can also get serious and lose that expression and be quite formidable.
