COMMENTS FOR DURARARA!!
If you are a Durarara fan you will immediately see the resemblance between the two. The story telling in Occultic Nine is non-chronological and shown from multiple points of view (as there is no 'main' character) just like in our famous Durarara, which are all it's recognizable features. The theme of a 'town which has a normal and an abnormal side' is present with the only difference that Durarara is kind of making fun of it, while Occultic Nine is pretty serious. They are set in the same time; the time that is very influenced by television and internet and especially by one blog (in O;N) i.e. secret site (in DRRR).

COMMENTS FOR CHäOS;HEAD
Occultic; Nine and Chaos; Head. These works of the same creator are locked in possibilities that are out of human understanding, trying to explain what does not seem to make sense. Both involve a young man who could be considered somewhat clear of society, although he has friends, he keeps for himself all the suffering of his mere existence. These protagonists are witnesses of death, are involved by chance, where each person related to him has somehow related to the events. The series usually use elements like the internet, police, even characters with certain similarities. Both seek the truth behind the dark world that presents itself before them, that chain of supernatural events that are accumulating.

COMMENTS FOR MEKAKUCITY ACTORS
Starts off with introducing characters one by one, MC is a NEET, and all of the events occurring in the show connect the characters together. Story telling from both shows can sometimes be light hearted or dark, and the events are messy/not in order. Also, both shows possess some unique and eccentric characters surrounded by mysteries.

COMMENTS FOR STEINS;GATE
Occultic; Nine and Steins; Gate. Two series that show us two protagonists who are looking for some recognition of their own, on the point of the work they have been doing (in O; N is a magazine about the paranormal and in S; G are the inventions). But they are not alone, they have the cheerful girl of the group that seems not to contribute much and the next characters that are added to occur strange events. Those strange happenings since the protagonists be witnesses death, of what his investigation may be taking them, at first is a triumph for him, but then they discover that as they is investigating more on the subject, they will be involved in greater problems. Both series contain a certain possibility of what may be true, which science has not been able to discover, and which now has been possible after a long time, leaving injuries in the protagonist and in those who connect with the events.

COMMENTS FOR CHäOS;CHILD
Every incidents happen.. in the city... that take the wrong side of turn..
Paranormal superstitious .. which is always gathered rumor that went viral in every possible chatrooms..
Pursuing and finding the victim leads you to massacre
The element based on this show is how the story started as a slow pace with pretty much of a dark turn twist..
COMMENTS FOR KOKKOKU
- Very large and diverse cast
- Winding story
- Funky music
- Superpowers and mystery
- Lots of death and blood
- Tense atmosphere
The art in Occultic;Boob is nicer but the artists behind Kokkoku has a better understanding of female anatomy. Both shows also share similar short-comings but if you were able to enjoy one, give the other a try.

COMMENTS FOR HAMATORA THE ANIMATION
Both are about people having supernatural abilities and doing detective work.

COMMENTS FOR GHOST HOUND
Children dabbling in superstition, conspiracy, and pseudoscience.
Occultic;Boob derives its mysticism from electronics, and Ghost Hound from neurology; both equally loaded with bullshit but probably easy enough to disregard if you know literally nothing about the topic. Maybe.
Vapid but atmospheric. Have good visuals for the time they were made.

Radios are notable in both series. Mousou Dairinin can also said to be occultic in terms of how everything has happened, not to spoil anything.

COMMENTS FOR HAKATA TONKOTSU RAMENS
Even if Occultic;nine does not include explicit killers (well just the albino kid), there is a mysterious atmosphere in both shows. In addition, the killing part is present, on Hakata is explicit Killers doing a job and getting paid while on Occultic;nine we have the 'occult' with black magic and other resources.
Of course, reasons behind deaths were money, ambition, or killing just for fun in both shows

COMMENTS FOR BOOGIEPOP AND OTHERS
Both Boogiepop and Occultic Nine have a non-linear storytelling style. A single set of events is told from multiple vantage points, with different characters supplying key information that advances the plot. Both series have a lot of death and violence, and both can be tagged as mysteries.

COMMENTS FOR CASE FILE Nº221: KABUKICHO
For the first episodes, everything happens very quickly and spontaneously. You look and don't understand what is going on. We also have a bunch of "colorful" ... Freaks (even a trans-barman is present!) and interesting murder mysteries.

COMMENTS FOR PUNCH LINE
Aside from similar themes like ghosts and [SPOILER] half-way through, both shows are structured almost identical.
First set of fast-paced and hyperactive episodes set to introduce characters and the crazy world around them, with small hints to an overarching plot sprinkled in. It takes a few episodes to plow through and most people would drop both shows at around the same time, but at episode 6, the real twist to the story is introduced, changing the perception of the events that lead up to that moment, and everything that is to come. Along with that, the endings are very similar in structure as well, so if you enjoyed the conclusion of one show, you will most likely enjoy the other one.
Plus they both have fanservice (even if Occultic;Nine is limited to giant boobs) that are mostly meant to intentionally distract you from the real plot underlying through the show.

COMMENTS FOR NORAGAMI ARAGOTO
Do you know the pain of turning your dream into reality? If you just want to earn money and become famous, but you aren't yet at that point yet... Even though you have that nice dream of have a lot of money, you just have to deal with other people, things and problems in the meanwhile, not really achieving your dream...
In Occultic;Nine and in Noragami there is this male main character, with black hair and the dream of making money and maybe becoming famous.
Gamon is a 17-years-old boy, who runs a blog about occultic events. But he isn't really interested in those occultic events, they are just so popular that by dealing with those topics in his blog, he might (and he also tries) get more views and also earn money. He wants to make tons of money!
Yato is a not well known god, who does all kind of delivery things and helps people. He charges just 5 yen, but this doesn't mean that he doesn't want to be known and famous. One of his dream is to build a own shrine.

COMMENTS FOR MOURYOU NO HAKO
Both are mysteries that offer a trail of evidence following murders that eventually lead to medical groups that are trying to follow supernatural domain. Both end well in last few episodes to tie up and explain everything that happened.
Occultic;Nine is modern and explains with technobabble and theories of Nickoloas Tesla while Mouryou no Hako is set in post WWII japan historical setting with a bigger focus on character intentions.

COMMENTS FOR CONCRETE REVOLUTIO
You might be surprised to see ConRevo as a recommendation for Occultic;Nine (and vice versa), but please give it a chance. Both series are of the sci-fi/mystery variety, extremely confusing, fast-paced, but clearly smart, have a great voice cast, fun OST, and vibrant visuals. If you don't mind being confused from the start and have enough patience, attention, and analytical ability to follow the plot, you will enjoy both Occultic;Nine and ConRevo immensely. Once you get the whole picture, you can't help but feel excited and see just how cool these shows are.
COMMENTS FOR CHARLOTTE

COMMENTS FOR RE:ZERO -STARTING LIFE IN ANOTHER WORLD-
The Main Protagonists of both anime are quite similar. Both deal with Death, Mystery and Supernatural things. Occultic;Nine is like what would happen to Subaru if he didn't move into the parallel world.
COMMENTS FOR CALIGULA
Reality is falling apart, dangerous creatures aproaches, mysteries and philosophy. Occultic;Nine characters are speaking more about spirits and paranormal, meanwhile Caligula main character is interested in psychology and human behavior. They both have similair style and feel.

- Mysterious, deadly, supernatural phenomenon killing people off.
- Posing ""'deep'"" and ""'philosophical'"" questions.
- Similar themes re: group identity, consciousness, etc.
