COMMENTS FOR BAKEMONOGATARI
Bunny Girl is basically a less verbose version of Bakemonogatari, complete with the anthology setup of the main guy, who comes off as a sarcastic prick but is secretly super nice, helps the waifu of the week come to terms with her social anxieties and hangups that supernaturally manifest in very literal ways. The snappy dialogue and instant chemistry between the leads makes both shows a very fun watch, but Bunny Girl is much more accessible.
Despite it's title, it's a more innocent, more drama and less action playoff of the Bakemonogatari idea, and the Clannad idea (not After Story). Before talking about the similarities, these are both absolutely touching shows and deserve your attention even if you've seen the other. They both have a fresh take on things.
A seemingly typical guy, who keeps his distance from others, notices a girl keeping her distance from others. Why are they keeping their distance? Because they each have a secret. Our main man, Sakuta has been dealing with his issues for years, and finds a girl who is in desperate need of help. Of course Mai won't ask for it, at first. These issues are all of the haunted/apparition type.
He saves her, they end up together, but of course that's only the first few episodes. Then he'll stumble onto another girl and selflessly end up helping her.
While I don't think these two are as similar as others who instantly compared the two. They do share some themes and structure, while differing in pacing and tone. If you enjoyed one you're fairly likely to enjoy the other, as I enjoyed both immensely, though for different reasons. The main similarity are to me is how the story is laid out. Story arcs in both focus on the cast of heroins and their supernatural problems that stem from and reflect their preexisting psychological hangups. The girls solve their problems by working together with the subdued, quick witted, and hilariously straightforward male protagonist of the read more

COMMENTS FOR MY TEEN ROMANTIC COMEDY SNAFU
Both shows are similar as they both take place in school environments and both main characters have put aside their tasks to help someone else who is suffering and is in need- In bunny girl the help needed is more serious. Both shows also have romance- more so with bunny girl senpai- and there is such a huge similarity between Mai and Yukino in terms of how they look, so if you watched any of these shows for how the character of either Mai or Yukino looked, I recommend the watching either one of them. Good light anime to watch.
An outcast's experience. Outcasts Sakuta and Hachiman spend their time by helping out different situations of various high school students experience.
Both Bunny Girl Senpai and Oregairu present a high school outcast, who are both eventually paired with another, Yukino and Mai respectively, of which, during these times, both pairs are made to help others with their problems reloving around their personal, social and school life.
While Bunny Girl Senpai has Sakuta help the girls problems, in what almost seems like an adventure type way, it is completed without Mai most of the time. Oregairu shows a deep thought process into how people behave, which gives a question of what action to take from there.

COMMENTS FOR KOKORO CONNECT
Both series explores the complexities of romantic relationships, friendships, and adolescence through supernatural phenomena. Whilst the supernatural phenomena are completely different and the plot differs, the concept is strikingly similar. Both main characters develop their relationships with those around them as a consequence of trying to solve the supernatural phenomena. A very strong recommendation for Kokoro Connect fans out there.
Since the genres of these works are almost identical, there is little surprise in this recommendation.
- Both take place in a school reality in which the characters involved, mostly, present personal dramas that are solved with the progression of the narrative.
- As if this were not enough, these internal problems, in general, represent important parallels with the common problems in adolescence and puberty. Kokoro Connect, for example, addresses personality and identity crises, troubled family relationships, correspondence and past or current relationships. Bunny-Girl, on the other hand, presents more specific themes and social criticisms, such as deep-rooted bullying, family pressure and comparison between sisters, the compulsive need for inclusion in social groups and networks, the constant dissemination of the body and image without conscience, among other things.
- In both works, the dilemmas faced by the characters (and, of course, their resolutions) are strictly associated with supernatural experiences. In Bunny-Girl, it is the Adolescent Syndrome. In Kokoro Connect, the events are conducted by "Seed Heart". These experiences also lead to closer ties between the characters in the cast.
- Both Bunny-Girl and Kokoro Connect present moments of comedy in conciliation with this more dramatic and serious narrative. It is interesting to note that both also have a comedy more centered on romantic interactions (and on some sexual lines) between the characters, although in Bunny-Girl the humor is much more dependent on the protagonist.

COMMENTS FOR THE MELANCHOLY OF HARUHI SUZUMIYA
Psychological but light-hearted. Both have a kind of harem but with a clear emphasis on one particular girl. They do adolescence syndrome and kind of supernatural things happen whilst going unnoticed by others, I guess? It's hard to explain, but these two shows are amazingly similar and I personally love them both.
COMMENTS FOR CLANNAD
Character-wise and dialog-wise and teenage-problem-connected-with-some-supernatural-stuff-theme-wise there are many anime out there that are more like "Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai" but - BUT - I got an almost mystical feeling from "Clannad" and I got a little bit of the same feeling from "Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai", so I think the reason, why both anime are so popular is made of the same essence and if you liked one I recommend to watch the other to maybe find this essence again.

COMMENTS FOR THE PET GIRL OF SAKURASOU
While they might not be a whole lot alike, if you loved Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo and want more from the same people, then try Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai. The writer of the Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo LN also wrote the Seishun Buta Yarou LN series.
COMMENTS FOR CHARLOTTE
A preternatural experience, both Charlotte and Bunny Girl Senpai both follow MCs who are caught up in having to aid other students dealing with social issues in a supernatural sense.
Charlotte uses superpowers as a base, where the student council has students with superpowers join Hoshinoumi Academy as well as helping with their social problems. Bunny Girl Senpai doesn't feature superpowers, rather, students with Puberty Syndrome are helped by Sakuta and sometimes Mai.
Both are good supernatural anime where Charlotte has a slower romance than Bunny Girl Senpai.

COMMENTS FOR YAMADA-KUN AND THE SEVEN WITCHES
Both have supernatural elements, decent sized cast of interesting characters, protagonists who help out many of those various characters with their problems (reluctantly at times) and in both the protagonist deals with a lot of girls however not all of them fall for him nor does he try to get with all of them (aka not a harem, even though in most anime it would be).

COMMENTS FOR SAGRADA RESET
They have similar style with well thought-out dialogues and a lot of talking. However bunny girl has more engaging characters and more human-like interactions between characters, so I certainly recommend it.

COMMENTS FOR LOVE, CHUNIBYO & OTHER DELUSIONS!
Aiding the illuded. Chuunibyou and Bunny Girl Senpai both follow an MC who helps out someone who is suffering from some form of a disorder.
Chuunibyou's Yuuta is paired up with chuunibyou Rikka in a memorable journey on her quest to reach the ethereal horizon. Bunny Girl Senpai's Sakuta made to help out multiple heroines with social problems in the form of 'Puberty Syndrome'.
Both anime are great rom-coms dealing with how different people deal with social/personal problems.

COMMENTS FOR THE WORLD GOD ONLY KNOWS
guy helps out the girls with their problems caused by the supernatural and build their relationship, potentially to a one sided crush. also great banter between the elsie and mc like the show. similarly problems are realistic lessons that see the characters develop through their own individual arc.
honestly if you love this show, you'll love this one as well. they differ heavily in their executions but fall within the concept of picking up girls each arc.

COMMENTS FOR JUST BECAUSE!
There are some similarities felt between the two, but that might be because the writer or the Seishun Buta Yarou LN series also did the script for Just Because!

COMMENTS FOR YOUR NAME.
The first 3 episodes of Bunny Girl Senpai is simply an upgrade to your name; both series are about supernatural phenomenons as well as losing memory and forgetting about someone you love.
COMMENTS FOR TORADORA!
Both shows are very well-done romances with great chemistry between their characters, set in high school settings. Toradora! is a more comedic take grounded entirely in the real world, while Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai is more dramatic and has a paranormal edge to it.

COMMENTS FOR SPICE AND WOLF
The banter between the male/female leads is clever, witty, and realistic.
If you liked this series for it's romance, drama, and slice of life elements, then you'll like this one as well. These are two of the best romances out there. Read the Light Novels if you enjoy them!

COMMENTS FOR ANOHANA: THE FLOWER WE SAW THAT DAY
Both MC's have similar situation, they are the only one that can see girl. In AnoHana girl is dead and in Bunny girl is forgotten by society. Both series are emotional rollercoasters and they guarantee that you will ship some couples and kept fingers crossed for "good things to happen".
COMMENTS FOR HYOUKA
It is an attractive series, it manages to conquer you in the first chapter with all the supernatural things that happen, it manages a lot of your curiosity and pretends to feed very well basic concepts such as the world that surrounds us, which is reality, and as it really is interpreted and everything from very simple quantum concepts, applied to electrons... we can see the world, but those that we do not see in it, it is not visible to our eyes... without a doubt, Chitanda would be increasing her curiously curious xD, about all the strange things that happen in Seishun Buta Yarou, to a point where we ourselves would question ourselves, how deep we want to get in the rabbit hole... of this bunny Schrödinger...

COMMENTS FOR MY TEEN ROMANTIC COMEDY SNAFU TOO!
Both involve a protagonist who is a loner by choice and rejects standard rules of highschool and societal conducts and expectations and they criticize those who blindly follow them. There also lies an underlying love story between the main character in both shows who are both equally fun to watch. Witty dialogue and some harsh social commentary is the name of the game.

COMMENTS FOR GROUND CONTROL TO PSYCHOELECTRIC GIRL
Same bit of nonsense as to adolescent syndrome (this anime), and Denpa Onna's adolescent points. Same nonsense drama and similar monologue. And oh, same "ecchi-level" between these two anime to make them worthy of H-doujins.
COMMENTS FOR RELIFE
Both series are about life problems and how to solve them without evading them by keep going no matter how hard they are. Both series use romantic themes and supernatural or imposible in real life situations or artifacts to bring atention to every problem the characters face in a simplistic way.

COMMENTS FOR I WANT TO EAT YOUR PANCREAS
If you enjoyed Kimi no suizo wo tabetai I strongly recommend Bunny Girl Senpai. Although it's more or less supernatural, this series beautifully portrays the struggle of life during the years of adolescent's. The character design and development is brilliantly done throughout this series, and the ending is sure to make you cry.

COMMENTS FOR IN/SPECTRE
Compared to In/Spectre, has a bit less dialogue-based interactions. In bunny girl, it is a bit more with scientific concepts, whereas this is more on hypothetical instancess, deductions, and inferences. There is some good Rom-com with both shows too.
