COMMENTS FOR RECOVERY OF AN MMO JUNKIE
They are romantic comedies about adult otakus falling in love. While in Net-Juu its mainly about game otakus, while in WnKwM you'll find a fujoshi, a cosplayer, a gamer. If you enjoy one, you'll probably enjoy the other.
"Recovery of an MMO Junkie" shares strong similarities with Wotakoi, especially in the main cast. Both of them have an otaku female character, who gets close to a male character of similar interests. The idea of love is lightly touched in each of the two - they are more focused on the otaku lifestyle and interests instead. So if you liked Wotakoi, chances are you'll like MMO Junkie as well.

COMMENTS FOR KISS HIM, NOT ME!
Both shows have a female main character who is a fujoshi/otaku and their obsession with anime and BL (Boys Love). Both shows have cosplayers, otaku-related things and handsome male main characters in common. Also both shows have little bit of a light-hearted romance and is more on the comedy side.
COMMENTS FOR REAL GIRL
similarities:
- main characters look alike (appearance-wise): a pink haired girl and a dark blue haired boy wearing glasses
- both anime depict love with otaku characters
- they're both a light romantic comedy
- The female MC is outspoken and an extrovert while the male MC is quiet and an introvert
differences:
- 3d Kanojo is set in high school (it's a shoujo) and Wotaku ni Koi is set in a workplace (it's a josei)
- in 3d Kanojo only the boy is an otaku but in Wotaku ni Koi all the main characters are otakus
- in Wotaku ni Koi there are 2 couples instead of just one
- 3d Kanojo deals with drama too, while Wotaku ni Koi prefers to focus on the comedy
- Personally, I like Wotaku ni Koi better
COMMENTS FOR GAMERS!
Well if you like anime that focus on a group of people that like video games and stuff then both of these shows work. Wotakoi is a more mature romance with like, actual adults. Gamers is set in high school and uses the character's screwed up relationships and misunderstandings as its main source of comedy.
If you want shows with a likable cast, above average comedy and nerdiness then both of these shows are worth checking out imo

COMMENTS FOR I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT MY HUSBAND IS SAYING
In contrast to all the characters in this show who are office workers and otakus, Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken focuses on the relationship between an otaku husband, and his working office wife. The shows are similar thematically. Both shows explore relationships in a comedic light showing the transition of the character/s as otakus into young professionals, how they maintain their old and new identities, and the meanings of growing up. Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii fits a standard 25 minute slot, whereas Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken is a 3 minute per episode slice of life based on the 4-koma manga.

COMMENTS FOR MISS KOBAYASHI'S DRAGON MAID
Kobayashi is fantastic while Wotaku is above average. Both shows are exciting departures from genre tropes. Kobayashi is slice of life from an adult perspective (still lots of moe though), while Wotaku is an adult rom-com where the relationship begins in episode 1 (and is free of any nonsense drama). In both the way that the adult relationships are handled result in heartwarming moments

COMMENTS FOR WELCOME TO THE N.H.K.
Both somewhat light hearted romance anime, although Wotakoi deals with romance much more maturely than Welcome to the NHK (I know, ironic seeing how immature but hilarious it seemed in Wotakoi).
Both deal with Otaku’s (kinda Otakus) trying to reform back into society.

COMMENTS FOR LOVE, CHUNIBYO & OTHER DELUSIONS!
A new start ruined? Chuunibyou and Wotakoi both follow protagonists who wish to keep their secrets under the blanket only to be ruined by their respective partners.
Yuuta's normal school life and Narumi's normal work life chances are both ultimately destroyed by Rikka and Hirotaka alike, drawing the two parties in each anime to become close to one another and build a relationship on something they had once dashed away.
Both anime are great rom-coms with Wotaki being a very relaxing anime about otakus, whilst Chuunibyou is about chuunibyous with a much-crazed atmosphere.
COMMENTS FOR GENSHIKEN
Both shows the life of being an OTAKU. One will show you otakus in a club university while the other were on a working office, yet both will use the otaku subject to bring comedy.

The light-hearted mood and comedy are similar in both anime, and Hirotaka reminds me a lot of Konata (they're both darudere video game otakus).
Wotaku has of course an element of romance that isn't present in Lucky, but both are very light, enjoyable watches nonetheless.

COMMENTS FOR LOVE STAGE!!
Otakus, who know more of anime romance than actual romance, falling in love - or having people falling for them. Those are shows about otakus that find out what the feeling of love is like. In Love Stage the love blooms between two boys, and in Wotakoi, between a boy and a girl. The comedy of the shows are really similar as well, and the side characters relationship are equally cute as the main one's.
