COMMENTS FOR ASCENDANCE OF A BOOKWORM
Power of knowledge. Even in a world distant to the current time. Stories Dr Stone and Ascendance of a Bookworm show what the power of knowledge can give to people who use such information well.
Dr Stone follows science genius Senku, using the power of science, in his attempt to save the world after all humans turned into stone. Bookworm follows a bookworm Urano who has reincarnated as Myne, in a world similar to that of the middle ages, devoid of books. Both protagonists starting from nothing, grow their way back up with human knowledge almost passed down to them in order to bring a world that has no resemblance to the present time world back to the present world they knew and loved.
Both are good comedy anime following smart people trying to override the way of life back to how it once was.
The premise of an "encyclopedia"-like brainiac protagonist is remarkably similar in both shows. Honzuki no Gekokujou, belonging firmly to the Seinen genre, is more melodramatic and drama-driven in general whereas Dr.stone, leaning more towards shounen, is more upbeat and exaggerated with supporting drama and action elements. As an imperfect analogy HnG is the Seinen counterpart of Dr. Stone and so should appeal to fans of Dr.Stone that also enjoy Seinen.

COMMENTS FOR APPARE-RANMAN!
They have a set goal and will achieve that set goal. Protagonists Senku and Appare both have the same personality in that their genius and rational mindsets control their actions towards a dead set goal they have.
Great scientist Senku is stuck in the world of the future where humanity has gone back to zero after being turned into stone. Great engineer Appare wishes to travel beyond the moon but instead, ends up going to America. Starting with little to nothing, both characters work their way up to the dreams they had before they got into this mess. Both characters also have the same personality, they are quite based and don't care about what others think, say or do.
Both are good anime featuring geniuses taking on a new world with the knowledge they have in their arsenal. Though both having their respective comedies, Dr. Stone is more sci-fi compared to Appare-Ranman.

COMMENTS FOR FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST: BROTHERHOOD
There is something inspiring about full metal alchemist that's hard to explain. You want the characters to succeed and seeing the Elric brothers grow is what makes the show so endearing.
Dr. Stone is a series that has that same feel and it's one of the few shows that's on par to FMA with characters and story.
If you see FMA as your favourite of all time then Dr.Stone might be a close second. Hell, it might even take the top spot.

COMMENTS FOR CELLS AT WORK!
The Anime Known as "That Time I Was Reincarnated As a Slime," is very similar to doctor stone in very similar ways. Before I go into comparing the two titles, I will contrast the two. Doctor stone is a show of Science, following the main character, Senku, on his journey that goes thousands of years into the future after he turns to stone, as well as the rest of the world. Suprisingly, he is the first one to wake up from his slumber, because of scientific reasoning. The main character of this show is smart, not strong. Slime is an isekai that follows rimuru and tells a tale where he dies as satoru, this 37 year old man that is still a virgin. This story is different for many reasons. One of those many reasons is that rimuru is not as developed with any shifting or conflicting thoughts as senku may have. Instead, his actions in the show are resulted as his death in the real world. This show Is what you would call less rolled out, or elaborate than Doctor Stone. These anime are both similar because the common interests of the main characters are to start civilization up. You could say that Doctor Stone is also somewhat of an isekai. Whether or not, that is my opinion. These two stories have characters that sort of win over different characters with their own tactics, rather than fighting them or the enemy directly. This is used to build up their numbers and increase their strength as a society as the story progresses. The reason you should watch Slime, is because this has a very common interest in doctor stone. Now depending on what you like, a fast paced story or a slow one, that will decide whether this is for you or not. This story is slow, but It does have some truths behind it that are yet to be explained.

COMMENTS FOR ASTRA LOST IN SPACE
Both share the same kind of "survival" feeling and their plot revolve around some kind of incident that happend to the human species that made them be in this kind of survival setting.
Kanata no astra spends more time deepening into the characters bonds and showcasing the worlds they travel throgug while Dr. stone is more of a shounen anime where you have got the classic Good characters vs bad characters and so forth.
Both animes are really enjoyable to watch and will catch you off guard with some of the plot twists.

COMMENTS FOR FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST
Science. Fullmetal Alchemist and Dr. Stone both use heavy references to science in general. Whether it be pure science or science used as a base for alchemy.
Plots are very different from one another but both have the same concept of trying to achieve the impossible. Dr Stone's sprint from the stone age to the current world era, FMA's journey of two brothers trying to find the Philosopher's stone.
Both are good anime with comedy targetted for the shounen demographic, though FMA has action, military and magic in comparison to Dr. Stone's sci-fi.

COMMENTS FOR DEATH NOTE
Clashing ideologies. Death Note and Dr. Stone both have a great representation of what a good clash in ideals look like.
With Death Note, L seeks out to destroy Kira for his controversial killings. With Dr. Stone Tsukasa finds Senku a threat to his ideals of what a good world would be like, though this clash is more of a sub-genre.
Death Note and Dr Stone give intelligent MCs an interesting mind battle to determine the future of the world. However, unlike Death Note, Dr. Stone gives more of an adventure with action and comedy on the side.

COMMENTS FOR NO GAME, NO LIFE
Intelligence. Dr Stone and No Game No Life both follow genius characters in a parallel setting where their knowledge is all the more advantageous to them.
Dr Stone's Senku is stuck with humanity in a world just like the stone age, where he pledges to use science to restore the world to its former glory. NGNL follows brother and sister, Sora and Shiro playing games in order to achieve the title of God.
Instead of action-packed fight scenes, both these anime bring the best of mind games to fight enemies with. Both contain good comedy as well.

COMMENTS FOR THE PROMISED NEVERLAND
Dr Stone and The Promised Neverland both are about young people who take a stand for themselves, not only for the better of themself but for those around them as well.
Dr Stone follows student scientist genius Senku carrying humanity on his back by trying to take it back to how it once was. TPN takes on the same kind of idea but on a smaller scale with the highly intelligible children of Grace Field having to save themselves from the bleak future that awaits them if they are too late.
Both are good anime for the shounen demographic which are based upon using the brain for read more

COMMENTS FOR ARE YOU LOST?
Improvise. Are You Lost? and Dr Stone follows students in a situation where they have to go into survival mode in order to make out what resources they have of the world given to them.
Dr Stone follows Senku and his time trying to bring humanity to how it once was, away from the current throwback into the past the species have experienced. Are You Lost follows 4 girls in their survival adventure on a remote island.
Both are good anime featuring comedy in both. Although Are You Lost is slightly more ecchi than that of Dr Stone.
COMMENTS FOR YU-GI-OH!
Both series feature savant's and genius/prodigy main characters with great & unique hair. Both are based off popular shonen JUMP manga. Main cast of characters are of similar ages (high school ish) and also had almost ordinary school lives where they made some of the friendships they maintain on these extraordinary adventures. Both series also have amazing art styles, character designs and OST's.

COMMENTS FOR KAGUYA-SAMA: LOVE IS WAR
Both shows have very similar humor and stylistic slapstick. While Dr. Stone focuses on science in an apocalyptic world with comedy on the side, Kaguya-sama: Love is War continues a similar joke style but places it’s characters in a totally different environment. Even though the characters are distinctly different, both shows leave similar impressions on the viewer that makes a transition between the two really seamless.
COMMENTS FOR DRIFTERS
Both are shows about characters living in different worlds from what they were used to.
Both have brilliant minds that come up solutions on how to deal with their surroundings(Senku, and Oda). Plus, not to mention, both use what they make for future plans
Both end on huge cliff hangers, sadly.
But more importantly, both are about two sides opposing the other, and are definitely worth watching.

COMMENTS FOR CODE GEASS: LELOUCH OF THE REBELLION
These anime both focus on a genius main character Lelouch & Senku respectively. They both take heavy inspiration from and are essentially set it our world's own future (the "real" world). The OST's and art styles for both are absolutely incredible and the characters & character designs are charming, lovable, engaging and relatable. Both series are also great at making you root for characters who may even have questionable motivations and ethics.

COMMENTS FOR LOG HORIZON
So for me the best parts of Dr Stone are where he outsmarts the opponent with technology so I'd say another anime with those out-smarting hype moments is Log Horizon. The protagonist is Isekaied into a fantasy game and uses knowledge of the game and the real world in order to break the rules of the game and outsmart the enemy.

COMMENTS FOR FIRE FORCE
Both Dr. Stone & Fire Force have amazing OST's and character designs. Both require the same time investment and are high intensity Shonen shows with intriguing plots. These series also complement each other being watched together weekly as they have different strengths but enough similarities that fans of one will likely also enjoy the other. The change of pace between these shows can be refreshing while they still appeal to the same target demographic.
