9 [Similar Anime] Like Sound! Euphonium 2

A similar atmosphere where the story focuses on the relationship between the characters, members of the same club in their school.
The main character (Kumiko / Hachiman) questioned the relationship and try to resolve disputes between the characters. (In OreGairu there is more romance)
Additionally we follow the story from the viewpoint of the main character (Kumiko / Hachiman) and have access to her/his thoughts and impressions.
The secondary characters are also important in the two series: for example, Asuka (Euphonium) and Hayato (OreGairu) are friendly appearance but seem to hide their true personality.
The main difference is that Euphonium is an anime about music unlike OreGairu.
If you like the series that showcase the characters, I recommend both.

Both made by Kyoto Animation and has a high school setting.
K-On is focused on light music club, drinking tea, eating cake, having a fun time being less serious and more "Moe"
Hibike! Euphonium is focused on brass band music , more "mature" and serious while keeping a certain cuteness of its own.

It´s all about music isn´t it? Nope. In both anime you see some students finding their way through life, growing on mistakes and challenges, while fighting their painful past or future. If you want to watch an anime that left you heartbroken and swollen from crying, well then enjoy.

The type of the anime is the same.Also the main characters in the story will have their own problem.The event of viewing and solving problems are touching.

Generally we find an intense atmosphere during competitions.
The characters are training seriously, have the same motivation but also fears about the success of their performance.
Moreover there are rivalry relationships between the characters.
Very pleasant musical compositions to listen in both series.

- "Crescent Moon Dance" for Hibike! Euphonium
Main difference: Hibike! Euphonium is an anime about music and Yuri !! on Ice is on ice skating.

As expected, the music is omnipresent and there are excellent musics ( "Country Road" and "Crescent Moon Dance")
There are also similarities in the main character: Kumiko and Shizuku are curious and worry about their friends and family.
They can be unpleasant, especially in their family relationships.
The two characters reflect on their future after school, especially by observing their big sister. (Mamiko in Euphonium and Shiho in Mimi wo Sumaseba)

These series are named after the title of a book written by a character in connection with one of the main characters. (Chitanda for Hyouka, Asuka for Euphonium)
They are also series school life/slice of life with a touch of romance.

We find an important notion of friendship in Kids on the Slope between Sentarou and Kaoru, as in Euphonium between Kumiko and Reina or Kumiko and Asuka.
Music is omnipresent in Hibike!Euphonium (fanfare) and Kids on the Slope (jazz)
In addition questions about their future comes to the minds of the characters, especially Sentarou and Asuka who have complicated relationships with their families. (Not the same motivations though)
In summary: friendship, music and transition to adulthood.

Kumiko and Watashi are very similar heroines, by their personality, their facial expressions/funny faces. They also tend to help others.
Besides they are the narrators of their series.(Kumiko for Euphonium and Watashi for Jinrui)
Despite their colorful appearance, both series incorporate serious themes in their plot.
